गोताखोरों ने महिला को सकुशल बचा लिया जबकि उस की एक चार वर्षीय बेटी की मौके पर ही मौत हो गयी। जबकि दो बच्चे अब नहर में डूबकर लापता हो गये हैं।पुलिस की टीम बच्चों की तलाश कर रही है। पुलिस ने महिला के खिलाफ हत्या का मुकदमा दर्ज करने की तैयारी कर ली है। रविवार दोपहर करीब दो से ढाई बजे के बीच एक महिला रब्बानी पत्नी शहजाद निवासी हसनपुर सभावाला थाना सहसपुर की सुबह अपने पति के साथ किसी बात को लेकर विवाद हो गया। जिसके बाद महिला रब्बानी ने आक्रोशित होकर खौफनाक कदम उठाते हुए तीनों बच्चों बडी बेटी जैनव 12 वर्ष, बेटा जैद 10 वर्ष व बेटी जिया 4 वर्ष को लेकर डॉक्टरगंज नई कॉलोनी के समीप पुल नंबर एक के पास शक्ति नहर में फेंक कर खुद नहर में कूद गयी। गोताखोर भी चारों को बचाने के लिए नहर में कूद गये। जिसमें दो बच्चे तो शक्ति नहर में डूबकर लापता हो गये।
जबकि महिला को सुरक्षित नहर से बाहर निकाल लिया पर जिया की नहर में डूबने से मौत हो गयी। जिया के शव को नहर से बरामद करने के बाद शव का पंचनामा पोस्ट मार्टम कर दिया है। रब्बानी को पुलिस ने हिरासत में लेकर पूछताछ कर की तो बताया कि उसके पति व उसके बीच किसी बात को लेकर कहासुनी हो गयी थी।
