काशीपुर। काशीपुर मेयर सीट से कांग्रेस प्रत्याशी घोषित होने के बाद संदीप सहगल एडवोकेट ने नगर के मां मनसा देवी मंदिर पहुंचकर आशीर्वाद लिया। संदीप सहगल एडवोकेट ने टिकट मिलने पर खुशी जाहिर करते हुए उन्हांेने इसका श्रेय पार्टी के शीर्ष और सभी वरिष्ठ नेताओं व सभी कार्यकर्ताओं, सहयोगियों को दिया। उनका कहना है कि वह निकाय चुनाव में सभी वरिष्ठ कांग्रेसी नेताओं एवं बुजुर्गों के आशीर्वाद व जनता के सहयोग से जीत का परचम लहरायेगे। उन्हें समाज के हर वर्ग का समर्थन मिलेगा। इस चुनाव में कांग्रेस की जीत आम जनता की जीत होगी। उन्होंने बताया कि वह शनिवार को सायं चुनाव कार्यालय का शुभारंभ होने के साथ ही रविवार को प्रातः 11 बजे किला तिराहा से कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ राजकीय पॉलीटेक्निक पहुंच कर नामांकन करेंगे।
