क्षेत्र के गांव भरतावाला मैं श्रीमद् भागवत कथा के प्रारंभ होने से पूर्व बैंड बाजे के साथ कलश यात्रा निकाली गई । जगह जगह श्रद्धालुओं ने पुष्प वर्षा कर स्वागत किया ।
भरतावाला गांव किस शिव मंदिर पर कथा वाचक रजनीश कुमार शास्त्री ने विधि विधान से पूजा अर्चना कर कलश यात्रा का शुभारंभ किया । पीले वस्त्र पहने महिलाएं सर पर जल का कलश रख नंगे पग भगवान की स्थिति करते चल रही थी वही धार्मिक बैंड बाजे ढोल नगाड़ा की धार्मिक धुन पर श्रद्धालु थिरकते चल रहे थे । गांव की मुख्य मार्गों से कलश यात्रा निकलने पर श्रद्धालुओं ने अपने मकानों की छत से पुष्प वर्षा कर स्वागत किया । इससे गांव का माहौल भक्तिमय हो गया । देर शाम कलश यात्रा का समापन शिव मंदिर में कलश स्थापना के बाद किया गया इस दौरान कथावाचक ने नौ दिवसीय श्री मद भागवत कथा का विस्तार से वर्णन करते हुए कहा कि जो भी श्रद्धालु श्रद्धा भाव के साथ कथा का स्मरण करता है उसके सभी दुख समाप्त हो जाते हैं । और उसके घर में दरिद्रता का बास नहीं होता नहीं होता । श्रीमद् भागवत कथा का शुभारंभ जिला पंचायत वार्ड नंबर 4 के सदस्य दिनेश कुमार प्रजापति ने पूजा अर्चना के बाद शुरू किया । कार्यक्रम का आयोजन डॉक्टर ओमपाल सिंह सैनी ,जितेंद्र सिंह सैनी ,मास्टर चरन सिंह सैनी ,वीर सिंह सैनी ,राम सिंह सैनी ,ग्राम प्रधान शंकर सिंह सैनी ,सुरेंद्र सिंह सैनी , विमला देवी, कमला देवी, सुनीता, मिथिलेश ,विमलेश, भारती देवी आदि सम्मिलित रहे ।
