काशीपुर। तिमंजिले मकान के ऊपरी तल में गैस सिलिंडर फटने से घर की छत उड़ गई। इससे फ्रिज समेत हजारों का घरेलू सामान जल गया। इस हादसे में पड़ोसी का मकान भी आंशिक रूप से क्षतिग्रस्त हो गया। मोहल्ला किला में घनी आबादी के बीच स्व. चंदन सिंह का छोटा सा तिमंजिला मकान है। मकान में चंदन की विधवा प्रेमवती समेत चार पुत्र जितेन्द्र, सुरेन्द्र, श्रवण, नन्हें रहते हैं। मकान के ऊपरी हिस्से में फ्रिज आदि घरेलू सामान रखा था। ऊपरी हिस्से में रहने वाला जितेन्द्र रक्षाबंधन पर बहन के घर गया था। शनिवार रात करीब साढ़े आठ बजे तेज धमाके के साथ सिलिंडर फट गया। इससे मकान की छत की टिन उड़ गई। तेज धमाके से पड़ोसी राजाराम का मकान भी आंशिक रूप से क्षतिग्रस्त हो गया। धमाके की आवाज सुनकर मकान के निचले हिस्से में मौजूद वृ(ा प्रेमावती बेहोश हो गई। इस संकरी गली में दमकल की गाड़ी पहंुच पाना संभव नहीं था। इसलिए आसपास के लोगों की मदद से आग पर काबू पाया गया। परिजनों ने बताया कि पिछले साल 27 फरवरी को ग्राम मिस्सरवाला स्थित अमरूद के बगीचे में बनी झोपड़ी में सिलिंडर फटने से इसी परिवार के सोनू सिंह ;35द्ध की मृत्यु हो गयी थी।
