काशीपुर। दुकान से चोरी किया गया इन्वर्टर व बैटरा बरामद करती पुलिस ने एक युवक को गिरफ्तार किया है। प्रकाश सिटी निवासी अंकित ग्रोवर पुत्र विनय कुमार ग्रोवर ने आईटीआई थाने में तहरीर देकर बताया कि उसकी जसपुर खुर्द में प्रथम ऑटोमोटिव सर्विस नाम से इन्वर्टर बैटरी की दुकान है। बीती 27 फरवरी को एक युवक उसकी दुकान पर इन्वर्टर बैटरी खरीदने के बहाने आया और मोलभाव करने लगा तथा कुछ देर दुकान पर ही रुका। इस बीच मैं अन्य ग्राहकों से बातचीत करने में व्यस्त हो गया। थोड़ी देर बाद दुकान में चैक करने पर ल्यूमिनस 700 बोल्ट इन्वर्टर व ओकाया कम्पनी की 140 एएच बैटरा गायब था। तहरीर में कहा गया कि इस इन्वर्टर व बैटरे के सम्बन्ध में उक्त युवक जानकारी कर रहा था। अंदेशा जताया कि उक्त युवक दुकान से उक्त इनवर्टर बैटरी चोरी कर ले गया है। तहरीर के आधार पर पुलिस ने अज्ञात के खिलाफ धारा 380 आईपीसी के तहत केस दर्ज कर छानबीन शुरू की। पुलिस के मुताबिक एक युवक यामाहा बाइक पर इंडेन गैस एजेंसी से जसपुर खुर्द की तरफ आते हुए दिखाई दिया जिसे रोक कर चेक किया तो उसकी बाइक पर ल्यूमिनस इन्वर्टर पाया गया। पूछताछ में वह संतोषजनक जवाब नहीं दे पाया। शक होने पर सख्ती से पूछताछ की गई तो उक्त युवक ने अपनी पहचान निजाम पुत्र शमशुद्दीन निवासी मोहल्ला महेशपुरा के रूप में कराते हुए बताया कि उसके द्वारा उक्त इन्वर्टर व बैटरा अंकित ग्रोवर की दुकान से चोरी किया गया था। इन्वर्टर को वह बेचने जा रहा था। बताया कि बैटरा उसने छुपाकर रखा है। निजाम की निशानदेही पर उक्त बैटरा भी बरामद कर लिया गया। पुलिस के मुताबिक उक्त मुकदमे में धारा 411 आईपीसी की बढ़ोतरी की गयी है। अभियुक्त को गिरफ्तार करने वाली पुलिस टीम में एसआई राकेश कठायत, कां. हरीश कुमार व गिरीश विद्यार्थी थे।
