खटीमा। स्मैक के साथ पुलिस ने दो युवकों को गिरफ्तार कर उनके खिलाफ केस दर्ज किया है। वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक उधम सिंह नगर द्वारा जनपद में चलाए जा रहे अवैध नशे के विरु( अभियान के अंतर्गत पुलिस अधीक्षक नगर एवं क्षेत्राधिकारी खटीमा के निर्देशानुसार थानाध्यक्ष झनकईया के निकट पर्यवेक्षण में थाना झनकईया पुलिस द्वारा राजीवनगर एवं पकड़िया क्षेत्र से दो अलग-अलग अभियुक्तों के कब्जे से अवैध स्मैक बरामद कर उनके विरू( धारा 8/ 21 एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत अभियोग पंजीकृत किया गया है। गिरफ्तार अभियुक्तों में पंकज सिंह पवार पुत्र गोपाल सिंह पवार निवासी पकड़िया वार्ड नंबर 10 थाना झरिया जनपद उधम सिंह नगर के कब्जे से 6.20 ग्राम स्मैक जबकि वाहिद खान पुत्र शेरखान निवासी वार्ड नंबर 10 राजीव नगर उधम सिंह नगर के कब्जे से 5.96 ग्राम स्मैक बरामद हुई। पुलिस टीम में थानाध्यक्ष रविंद्र सिंह बिष्ट, उप निरीक्षक मनोज देव, प्रदीप शर्मा, मनोज धोनी, कान्स्टेबल रमेश जीना, ताजुद्दीन, राजेंद्र जोशी, अजीत कुमार थे।
