जालंधर। यहां के थाना नंबर 4 के मोहल्ला कोट पक्षियां में रिटायर्ड पुलिस कर्मचारी (पुलिसिये) के 28 वर्ष के पुत्र रजत शर्मा ने बीती देर रात दिमागी परेशानी के कारण अपने कमरे में फांसी लगा कर खुदकुशी कर ली। पारिवारिक सदस्यों को उसका शव पंखे के साथ लटकता मिला, उसे इलाज के लिए तुरंत अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहां उसकी मौत हो गई। सूचना मिलने पर पहुंची पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर जांच शुरू कर दी। थाने के इंचार्ज हरविंदर सिंह ने बताया कि सुभाष चंद्र पुत्र रक्खा राम निवासी कोट पक्षियां रिटायर्ड पुलिस कर्मचारी ने बयान दर्ज करवाए हैं कि उसके 3 बेटे और 3 बेटियां हैं। उसका 28 वर्ष का बेटा रजत शर्मा गुरू अमरदास नगर में मोबाइलों का काम करता था, कोरोना काल के दौरान कामकाज न होने के कारण वह दिमागी तौर पर परेशान रहता था। दिमागी परेशानी के कारण देर रात 12.15 बजे उसने अपने कमरे में फंसा लगा कर खुदकुशी कर ली। उसे पंखे से उतार कर सिविल अस्पताल लेजाया गया पर डाक्टरों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया। रजत 3 भाइयों में सबसे छोटा था। सिर्फ 5 महीने पहले ही उसका रिश्ता तय हुआ था। वह अपने भाई के साथ मोबाइलों का काम करता था। पुलिस ने शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए सिविल अस्पताल भिजवा दिया है। पुलिस ने उक्त मामले में धारा 174 के अंतर्गत कार्यवाही की है।
