भैया दूज के पावन अवसर पर आज प्रात: 8 बजकर 30 मिनट पर ग्यारहवें ज्योर्तिलिंग भगवान श्री केदारनाथ के कपाट शीतकाल के लिए बंद हो गए हैं। इस अवसर पर ढाई हजार से अधिक श्रद्धालु कपाट बंद होने के साक्षी बने।
आज प्रात: तीन बजे केदारनाथ मंदिर खुल गया। चार बजे से कपाट बंद करने की समाधि पूजन प्रक्रिया शुरू हुआ। पुजारी टी गंगाधर लिंग ने भगवान केदारनाथ के स्वयंभू ज्योर्तिलिंग को श्रृंगार रूप से समाधि रूप दिया गया। ज्योर्तिलिंग को बाघंबर, भृंगराज फूल,भस्म, स्थानीय शुष्क फूलों- पत्तों आदि से ढका गया। इसके साथ ही भकुंट भैरव नाथ के आह्वान के साथ ही गर्भगृह तथा मुख्य द्वार को जिला प्रशासन की मौजूदगी में बंद किया गया। साथ ही पूरब द्वार को भी सीलबंद किया गया। मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने श्री केदारनाथ धाम के कपाट बंद होने के अवसर पर तीर्थयात्रियों का आभार जताते हुए कहा कि इस बार चारधाम यात्रा पर पैंतालीस लाख से अधिक श्रद्धालु पहुंचे है। देश के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी के मार्गदर्शन में नई केदार पुरी अस्तित्व में आ चुकी है।
पर्यटन मंत्री श्री सतपाल महाराज ने कहा कि प्रदेश सरकार के प्रयासों से यात्रा सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न हो रही है तथा केदारनाथ धाम में भी रिकार्ड श्रद्धालु पहुंचे। इस अवसर पर सेना की 11 मराठा लाईट इन्फैंट्री रूद्रप्रयाग के बैंड की भक्तिमय धुनों तथा बाबा केदार की जय उद्घोष से केदारनाथ धाम गुंजायमान रहा। मंदिर समिति अध्यक्ष अजेंद्र अजय ने तमाम विभागों का आभार प्रकट किया।
कपाट बंद होने के बाद भगवान केदारनाथ जी की पंचमुखी डोली शीतकालीन गद्दी स्थल श्री ओंकारेश्वर मंदिर उखीमठ के लिए प्रस्थान हुई। आज पंचमुखी डोली प्रथम पड़ाव रामपुर पहुंचेगी। 28 अक्टूबर को देवडोली श्री विश्वनाथ मंदिर गुप्तकाशी और 29 अक्टूबर को श्री ओंकारेश्वर मंदिर उखीमठ पहुंचेगी। श्री बदरीनाथ- केदारनाथ मंदिर समिति के मीडिया प्रभारी डॉ. हरीश गौड़ ने बताया कि 19 नवंबर को श्री बदरीनाथ धाम के कपाट शीतकाल हेतु बंद हो जायेंगे। श्री हेमकुंट साहिब-लक्ष्मण मंदिर के कपाट 10 अक्टूबर को बंद हो गये। द्वितीय केदार तुंगनाथ जी के कपाट 7 नवंबर तथा द्वितीय केदार श्री मद्महेश्वर जी के कपाट 18 नवंबर को बंद हो जायेंगे। इसी के साथ ही इस वर्ष की चार धाम यात्रा का सफल समापन हो जायेगा।
इस अवसर पर श्री बदरीनाथ- केदारनाथ मंदिर समिति के अध्यक्ष अजेंद्र अजय, पंकज मोदी, मंदिर समिति उपाध्यक्ष किशोर पंवार, जिला प्रशासन पुलिस के अधिकारी, केदारनाथ उत्थान चैरिटेबल ट्रस्ट के संयुक्त सचिव/ मंदिर समिति मुख्य कार्याधिकारी योगेन्द्र सिंह, यात्रा मजिस्ट्रेट गोपाल राम बिनवाल, आदि मौजूद रहे।
