नई दिल्ली। भारत की ओलंपियन खिलाड़ी नेत्रा कुमानन ने स्पेन में महिला नौकायन चैम्पियनशिप में स्वर्ण पदक जीता है। नेत्रा ने यूरोपीय क्षेत्रीय ओपन प्रतियोगिताओं में से एक ग्रैन कैनारिया चैम्पियनशिप की लेजर रेडियल स्पर्धा में यह स्वर्ण पदक जीता है। नेत्रा ने पिछले सप्ताह ही ग्रैन कैनारिया में आईएलसीए 6 प्रतियोगिता की छह में से पहली तीन रेस में पहला स्थान हासिल कर कुल 10 नेट अंक हासिल किए थे। वहीं स्पेन की ही बेनेयटो लांचो और मार्टिना रेनो काचो दूसरे और तीसरे स्थान पर रहीं।
भारतीय खेल प्राधिकरण (साइ) ने नेत्रा को इस जीत पर बधाई दी है। साइ ने एक ट्वीट किया- नाविक नेत्रा कुमानन ने ग्रैन कैनारिया सेलिंग चैम्पियनशिप (यूरोपीय क्षेत्रीय ओपन प्रतियोगिता) में लेजर रेडियल मे स्वर्ण पदक जीता। साइ ने कहा कि उन्होंने तीन रेस जीती और बाकी दो अन्य में तीसरे और चैथे स्थान पर रहीं। इस प्रतियोगिता में तीन देशों के 20 प्रतिभागियों ने हिस्सा लिया जिसमें 3 ओलिम्पियन शामिल थे।
