बाजपुर 1 सितम्बर- सरस्वती शिशु मंदिर बाजपुर में आयोजित संकुल खेलकूद प्रतियोगिता का शुभारम्भ पूवै कैबिनेट मंत्री व गदरपुर विधायक अरविन्द पाण्डेय ने दीप प्रज्जवलित कर किया। इस दौरान पूर्व कैबिनेट मंत्री पाण्डेय ने विद्यार्थियों को खेल का महत्व और उससे होने वाले लाभ बताएं। साथ ही भविष्य के लिए अपने जीवन में खेल को अपनाने का गुरू मंत्र दिया। खेल प्रतियोगिता के तहत 100 मीटर दौड़ में तन्मय कुशवाहा प्रथम, परीक्षित द्वितीय व रोहित तृतीय स्थान पर रहे। कबड्डी बाल वर्ग में सरस्वती शिशु मंदिर बाजपुर ने प्रथम व सुल्तानपुर पट्टी ने द्वितीय स्थान प्राप्त किया। कार्यक्रम का संचालन सरस्वती बालिका विद्या मंदिर इंटर कॉलेज की प्रधानाचार्या अनमोला शर्मा ने किया। इस मौके पर विद्यालय प्रधानाचार्य गणेश दत्त सती, जिला पंचायत सदस्य हरजसपाल सिंह ‘हैरी’, हरीश सक्सैना, अभिषेक, रोहित बंसल, विजय कुमार, हरीश वर्मा आदि थे।
