रामनगर। दुर्लभ प्रजाति का जहर थूकने वाले कोबरा सांप को सेव द स्नेक एंड वाइल्डलाइफ वेलफेयर सोसायटी की टीम ने पकड़ा है, बताया जाता है कि यह सांप अपने सुरक्षा के लिए जहर को अपने दुश्मन के ऊपर थूकता है। इस सांप का वैज्ञानिक नाम मोनोकल्ड कोबरा है। इसे रामनगर के पीरूमदारा शांतिकुंज गली नंबर छह से पकड़ा। एक ही महीने में दो मोनोकल्ड कोबरा रेस्क्यू किए गए हैं, उन्होंने बताया कि गायब हो रही इस प्रजाति के संरक्षण के लिए सेव द स्नेक संस्था प्रयास कर रही है। सर्प विशेषज्ञ चंद्रसेन कश्यप ने बताया कि कोबरा सांप काफी खतरनाक होता है यह खुद को बचाने के लिए दूर से ही जहर थूकने में सक्षम है इस सांप के फन पर चांद जैसी गोलाकार आकृति होती है।
