रूद्रपुर सू.वि- भारी वर्षा व जल भराव को देखते हुये जिलाधिकारी उदयराज सिंह ने सोमवार प्रातः ही सितारगंज, खटीमा क्षेत्र में भ्रमण पर निकले। उन्होने किच्छा, सितारगंज होते हुये झनकट, चकरपुर, खटीमा, लोहियाहैड, नगला तराई सहित अनेक जल भराव क्षेत्रों का स्थलीय निरीक्षण किया। निरीक्षण के दौरान उन्होने अधिकारियों को तत्काल आवश्यक कार्यवाही करते हुये जल भराव क्षेत्रों व नदी किनारे बसे लोगों का विस्थापित करने व राहत कार्य करने के निर्देश दिये।
इधर जिलाधिकारी के निर्देश पर अपर जिलाधिकारी वित्त एवं राजस्व अशोक कुमार जोशी ने अरविन्द नगर, झाड़ी गांव क्षेत्र सितारगंज का स्थलीय निरीक्षण कर राहत बचाव कार्य का मोर्चा सम्भाला। उन्होने अरविन्द नगर क्षेत्र से एसडीआरएफ, तहसील, पुलिस द्वारा राहत बचाव अभियान चलाकर 44 परिवारों को राजकीय उच्च प्राईमरी विद्यालय झाड़ी में विस्थापित कराया तथा तहसील प्रशासन के माध्यम से विस्थापित परिवारो के लिये भोजन की व्यवस्था की गयी।
उधर तहसील गदरपुर के नगर पालिका वार्ड संख्या 11 के 20 लोगों को जल भराव होने के कारण सुरक्षित स्थान पर विस्थापित किया गया तथा भोजन की व्यवस्था की गयी। जबकि ग्राम तुर्कातिसौर में अत्यधिक जल भाराव होने से एक परिवार को जेसीबी के माध्यम से सुरक्षित विस्थापित किया गया। जलपद के सभी जल भाराव क्षेत्रों में अधिकारियों द्वारा तहसील प्रशासन, पुलिस, एनडीआरएफ, एसडीआरएफ के माध्यम से राहत बचाव कार्य लगातार किया जा रहा है।
जनपद मुख्यालय उपाध्यक्ष जिला विकास प्राधिकरण अभिषेक रूहेला, मुख्य विकास अधिकारी मनीष कुमार, अपर जिलाधिकारी प्रशासन पंकज उपाध्याय, प्रभारी अधिकारी आपदा गौरव पाण्डेय प्रातः से ही आपदा कन्ट्रोल रूम में बैठ कर जनपद के बाढ़, जल भराव की सूचनाएं प्राप्त कर पैनी नजर बनाये हुये है व मॉनिट्रिंग कर रहे है तथा आवश्यक दिशा निर्देश सम्बन्धितो को जारी किये जा रहे है।
