सितारगंज, मौसम विभाग द्वारा जारी अलर्ट के दृष्टिगत जनपद में बाढ़ एवम आपदा से बचाव हेतु जिलाधिकारी उदयराज सिंह बेहद संजीदगी से कार्य कर रहे हैं। इसी क्रम में जिलाधिकारी उदयराज सिंह ने शुक्रवार को जनपद के विभिन्न बाढ़ संभावित एवम भू–कटाव क्षेत्रों का स्थलीय निरीक्षण किया। बेगुल डैम निरीक्षण के दौरान अधिशासी अभियंता बीसी नैनवाल ने बताया कि डैम से पहले नदी के प्रवाह क्षेत्र में अत्यधिक सिल्ट जमा होने के कारण नदी का बहाव अवरुद्ध होने से नदी ने अपना रास्ता बदलते हुए नाले में मिल गई है। जिससे कुछ गांवों में जल भराव की स्थिति उत्पन्न होने के कारण रिवर ट्रेनिंग की आवश्यकता है। जिस पर जिलाधिकारी ने अधिशासी अभियंता सिंचाई को विस्तृत कार्य योजना तैयार करने के निर्देश दिए।
जिलाधिकारी ने चीकाघाट में कैलाश नदी से रिवर ट्रेनिंग न होने के कारण हो रहे कृषि भूमि के भू कटाव पर विस्तृत रिपोर्ट तैयार करने के निर्देश अधिशासी अभियंता सिंचाई को दिए। उन्होंने कृषि भूमि कटाव की फोटो एवम वीडियोग्राफ सहित समस्त डाटा रिपोर्ट में सम्मिलित करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने डोहरी गांव के निकट कैलाश नदी से हो रहे भू कटाव का भी मौका मुआयना किया। उन्होंने आपदा प्रबंधन मानकों के अंतर्गत सुरक्षात्मक कार्यों के आगणन तैयार कर आपदा प्रबंधन कार्यालय में प्रस्तुत करने के निर्देश दिए।
जिलाधिकारी ने नानक सागर के निरीक्षण के दौरान निर्देश दिए कि पूर्व चिंहित एवम आवंटित स्थान से ही बोटिंग कराने तथा प्रतिबंधित क्षेत्र में बोटिंग न कराने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने नियमों का उल्लंघन करने पर बोट संचालक के खिलाफ कार्यवाही करने के भी निर्देश दिए।
जिलाधिकारी ने गुरुद्वारा श्री नानकमत्ता साहिब पहुंचकर मत्था टेका तथा जनपद एवम राज्य के चहुमुंखी विकास, खुशहाली की कामना के साथ ही आपदा से बचाव की भी कामना की। गुरीदारा कमेटी के पदाधिकारियों द्वारा जिलाधिकारी को सरोपा भेंट कर सम्मानित किया।
निरीक्षण के दौरान उप जिलाधिकारी तुषार सैनी, जिला आपदा प्रबंधन अधिकारी उमा शंकर नेगी, अधिशासी अभियंता सिंचाई बीसी नैनवाल, अधिशासी अभियंता सिंचाई उत्तर प्रदेश सुरेंद्र पाल सिंह, सहायक अभियंता रविंद्र कुमार सहित अन्य अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।
