काशीपुर। मोटर चोरी की घटनाओं का खुलासा करती पुलिस ने दो युवकों को गिरफ्तार कर दो मोटरें ओर एक बाइक बरामद की है।
चेतन कुमार पुत्र राम कुमार निवासी ग्राम किलावली, कुण्डा की मोटर खेत से चोरी होने सम्बन्धी प्राप्त तहरीर के आधार पर थाना कुण्डा पुलिस ने मुकदमा पंजीकृत किया। उक्त मोटर चोरी की घटना के अतिरिक्त गढीनेगी क्षेत्र में कुछ अन्य मोटर चोरी की घटना होना भी प्रकाश में आया। मोटर चोरी की घटनाओं व चोरी हुई मोटर की बरामदगी हेतु उच्चाधिकारीगण द्वारा भी दिशा निर्देश निर्गत किये गये थे। जिस सम्बन्ध में थानाध्यक्ष दिनेश सिंह फर्त्याल के नेतृत्व में मोटर की तलाश व बरामदगी हेतु दो टीमों का गठन किया गया था। उपनिरीक्षक मनोहर चन्द व कांस्टेबल हरीश प्रसाद, संजय कुमार के साथ बैलजुडी तिराहे पर चैकिंग कर रहे थे कि इस दौरान हरिकेश पुत्र जुम्मा सिंह निवासी तुमडिया डैम नं. 2 पीलीकोठी मालधन चौड थाना रामनगर व सोहन सिंह उर्फ सोनू पुत्र हरदीप सिंह निवासी भोगपुर डाम नं. 2 पतरामपुर जसपुर को चोरी हुई मोटर एवं उक्त मोटरों को बेचने हेतु ले जाते समय मय मोटर साईकिल जिसके सम्बन्ध में थाना काशीपुर में मुकदमा पंजीकृत है, के साथ दबोच लिया। पुलिस के मुताबिक दोनों ने मिलकर थाना काशीपुर क्षेत्र से माह फरवरी में एमपी चौक से मोटर साईकिल तथा गढ़ीनेगी क्षेत्र किलावली व दुर्गापुर से मोटरें चोरी करना कबूलने पर दोनों को धारा 379, 411, 34 आईपीसी के तहत गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। गिरफ्तार दोनों अभियुक्तों का आपराधिक इतिहास खंगाला जा रहा है। गिरफ्तार करने वाली टीम में थानाध्यक्ष दिनेश सिंह फर्त्याल, मंडी चौकी प्रभारी मनोहर चन्द व कांस्टेबल हरीश प्रसाद और संजय कुमार शामिल थे।
