न्यू लाइट स्कूल के छात्रों ने जू-जित्सु प्रतियोगिता में जीते पदक
रुद्रपुर। राष्ट्रीय जू-जित्सु प्रतियोगिता में न्यू लाइट स्कूल के छात्रों ने पदक जीतकर विद्यालय व क्षेत्र का नाम रोशन किया। विद्यालय प्रबंधकक मलूक सिंह खिण्डा ने बताया कि 29 मार्च से 2 अप्रैल तक आयोजित हुई राष्ट्रीय जू-जित्सु प्रतियोगिता में उत्कृष्ट खेल का प्रदर्शन करते हुए न्यू लाइट स्कूल के पांच खिलाड़ियों ने प्रतिभाग किया। विक्रम नेगी ने 16 आयु वर्ग के 48 किग्रा भार में कांस्य, हरमंदीप कौर ने 16 आयु वर्ग के 48 किग्रा भार में कांस्य, गुरप्रीत कौर ने 14 आयु वर्ग के 48 किग्रा भार में कांस्य और अनुष्का राणा ने 14 आयु वर्ग के 36 किग्रा भार में कांस्य पदक जीता। छात्र गुरबख्श सिंह ने भी प्रतियोगिता में प्रतिभाग किया, हालांकि कोई पदक नहीं मिला। शुक्रवार को पदक जीतने वाले खिलाड़ियों को विद्यालय प्रबंधन ने सम्मानित किया। जू-जित्सु एसोसिएशन आॅफ इंडिया के अध्यक्ष विनय कुमार जोशी, जनरल सेक्रेटरी अमित अरोड़ा, विद्यालय प्रबंधक मलूक सिंह खिंडा, प्रधानाचार्य डा. बलजीत कौर, प्रशिक्षक किशन सिंह चैहान ने सभी को शुभकामनाएं दीं।
