काशीपुर। कोतवाली में आज होली एवं शब-ए-बारात में शांति सद्भावना कायम रखने को लेकर शांति समिति की बैठक आयोजित की गई। बैठक की अध्यक्षता एसपी अभय सिंह ने की। बैठक में उपस्थित लोगों को संबोधित करते हुए एसपी ने होली एवं शब-ए-बारात के त्योहार में शांति-व्यवस्था बनाए रखने में एक-दूसरे को सहयोग करने की अपील की। बैठक मे मौजूद लोगों ने त्योहार के दौरान शरारती तत्वों पर नकेल कसने की मांग पुलिस-प्रशासन से की। लोगों ने यह भी कहा कि पक्के रंग से होली न खेल कर गुलाल से होली खेली जाए। बैठक में सीओ वंदना वर्मा, कोतवाली प्रभारी मनोज रतूड़ी, नगर निगम के सहायक नगर आयुक्त यशवीर सिंह राठी एवं नगर के गणमान्य व्यक्तियों में हसीन खान, अशरफ एडवोकेट, राजीव परनामी, अब्दुल कादिर, शाहिद मंसूरी, विपिन पप्पी, सुनील पांडे, रवि ढींगरा, जगत बिष्ट, मोनू चैधरी, राजू सेठी, जगमोहन बंटी, माजिद अली, राशिद फारूकी, बलकार सिहं आदि मौजूद थे। बैठक का संचालन डा. एमए राहुल ने किया।
