नई दिल्ली। दिल्ली के एक मशहूर डॉक्टर के साथ पिछले दिनों हुई 2 करोड़ की ठगी के मामले में यवतमाल पुलिस ने आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। महाराष्ट्र के यवतमाल जिले के रहने वाले 12वीं तक पढ़े युवक ने सोशल मीडिया पर खुद को महिला के तौर पेश कर 44 साल के महशूर डॉक्टर को हनीट्रैप में फंसा लिया था। दो करोड़ की चपत के बाद उसे खुद के ठगे जाने का अहसास हुआ। पीड़ित ने शनिवार को यवतमाल पुलिस में एफआईआर दर्ज कराई थी। आरोपी का नाम संदेश मानकर है। अपने पिता की मौत के बाद एक स्थानीय सोसायटी में किराये पर रहता है। फिलहाल आरोपी 7 सितंबर तक पुलिस रिमांड पर रहेगा।
पुलिस के मुताबिक, आरोपी ने फेसबुक, इंस्टाग्राम और अन्य सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म पर एक महिला के रूप में अपना फर्जी प्रोफाइल बना रखा था। कुछ महीने पहले डॉक्टर सोशल मीडिया पर संदेश मानकर के संपर्क में आ गया। संदेश मानकर ने खुद को एक अमीर परिवार का बताया और दुबई में कारोबार होने की बात कही।
पिछले महीने संदेश ने डॉक्टर से कहा कि उसकी बहन का अपहरण हो गया है और उससे दो करोड़ रुपये की फिरौती मांगी है। इसके बाद डॉक्टर ने यवतमाल जाकर 12 अगस्त को आरोपी के द्वारा बताए गए व्यक्ति को यह राशि सौंप दी। बाद में संदेश ने कॉल कर बताया कि उसकी बहन को अपहरणकर्ताओं ने छोड़ दिया है। इसके साथ पीड़ित को एक बैंक खाते में 7,20,000 रुपये जमा करने के लिए कहा। यही नहीं, डॉक्टर ने यह रकम भी जमा करा दी। इसके बाद आरोपी ने अपने सभी सोशल मीडिया अकाउंट्स के साथ मोबाइल फोन बंद कर लिया। डॉक्टर को ठगी अहसास तो उसने शनिवार को पुलिस में शिकायत दर्ज कराई, जिसके बाद यवतमाल पुलिस ने आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर उसके पास से 1.97 करोड़ रुपये की राशि बरामद कर ली है।
