बिहार के मधुबनी जिले में एक डॉक्टर दंपति ने अपनी बेटी के जन्म को यादगार बनाने और बेटियों के प्रति समाज को सकारात्मक संदेश देने के लिए अनूठी पहल की है। परिवार ने अपनी बेटी को उसके 10वें जन्मदिन पर एक नायाब तोहफा दिया है। झंझारपुर के आरएस बाजार इलाके में रहने वाले डॉक्टर सुरविन्दु झा और डॉक्टर सुधा झा ने अपनी बेटी आस्था भारद्वाज के नाम से चांद पर एक एकड़ जमीन की रजिस्ट्री कराई है। झंझारपुर में निजी नर्सिंग होम चलाने वाले डॉक्टर सुरविन्दु झा का कहना है कि आस्था भारद्वाज उनके खानदान की पहली बेटी है। सुरविन्दु ने कहा कि बेटियां किसी भी खानदान की मान और सम्मान होती हैं, लेकिन उनके खानदान में करीब सात पीढ़ियों से बेटियों की किलकारी और हंसी नहीं गूंजी थी, इसलिए जब उनके घर में आस्था का जन्म हुआ तो परिवार काफी खुश है। इसलिए इस खुशी को खास बनाने के लिए हमने अपनी बेटी को चांद पर जमीन खरीदकर गिफ्ट की है। डॉक्टर सुरविन्दु झा के मुताबिक बेटी के लिए चांद पर जमीन खरीदने की प्रक्रिया पूरी होने में करीब डेढ़ वर्ष का वक्त लगा। सबसे पहले उन्होंने अमेरिका के कैलिफोर्निया स्थित लूना सोसायटी की वेबसाइट पर आवेदन किया, फिर तमाम तरह की कागजी प्रक्रिया पूरी करने और जमीन की कीमत और रजिस्ट्री शुल्क की राशि पेपाल एप से भुगतान करवाने के बाद 27 जनवरी, 2022 को स्पीड पोस्ट से उन्हें चांद पर जमीन रजिस्टर्ड कराने का पेपर मिला।
