काशीपुर।सार्वजनिक स्थान पर जुआ खेलते चार जुआरियों को गिरफ्तार कर पुलिस ने ताश की गड्डी व 9200 रूपये बरामद किये हैं। गिरफ्तार जुआरियों का चालान 13 जीएक्ट के तहत किया गया है। दरअसल, पुलिस उपमहानिरीक्षक कुमाऊं परिक्षेत्र नैनीताल के द्वारा आॅपरेशन क्रैकडाउन के अंतर्गत समस्त जनपदों को अवैध सट्टे की बरामदगी हेतु निर्देश दिए गए थे। उक्त क्रम में वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक ऊधमसिंह नगर, पुलिस अधीक्षक काशीपुर, पुलिस अधीक्षक रुद्रपुर एवं सहायक पुलिस अधीक्षक काशीपुर द्वारा प्रभारी एसओजी काशीपुर के निर्देशन में एक टीम का गठन किया गया। उच्चाधिकारियों के आदेशानुसार एवं निर्देशन में टीम ने काशीपुर क्षेत्र में सघन चेकिंग अभियान चलाते हुए शुक्रवार को मौहल्ला अल्ली खां स्थित कब्रिस्तान के पास सार्वजनिक स्थान पर जुआ खेलते फैजान पुत्र नजाकत अली निवासी मौहल्ला अल्ली खां, जफर अली पुत्र गुलफाम निवासी लक्ष्मीपुर पट्टी, सलमान पुत्र अली अहमद निवासी काली बस्ती अल्ली खां तथा फहीम पुत्र मोहम्मद हनीफ निवासी झंडू शाह बाबा की मजार के पास, श्मशान रोड काशीपुर को गिरफ्तार किया। इनके पास से एक ताश की गड्डी व 9200 रूपये नकद बरामद हुए। सभी का 13 जीएक्ट के तहत चालान किया गया। इन्हें गिरफ्तार करने वाली टीम में एसओजी प्रभारी रविंद्र सिंह बिष्ट,एसओजी कांस्टेबल दीपक कठैत, कैलाश तोमक्याल, विनय व गिरीश कांडपाल थे।
