माऊं विश्वविद्यालय का 19वां दीक्षांत समारोह आयोजित
देहरादून। माऊं विश्वविद्यालय का 19वां दीक्षांत समारोह सोमवार को डीएसबी परिसर, नैनीताल में आयोजित किया गया। जिसमें 89 विद्यार्थियों (63 प्रतिशत छात्राओं) को उनकी असाधारण उपलब्धियों के लिए पदक, जबकि 201 पीएचडी शोधार्थी (66 प्रतिशत छात्राओं) और 19,570 स्नातकध्स्नातकोत्तर छात्रों को स्वर्ण, रजत और कांस्य पदक एवं उपाधि दी गई। जबकि कला-रंगमंच के क्षेत्र में राज्य का नाम राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर गौरवान्वित करने वाले अभिनेता ललित मोहन तिवारी को डी-लिट और शिक्षा शोध एवं नवाचार के क्षेत्र में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान के लिए प्रोफेसर डीपी सिंह को डीएससी मानद उपाधि से विभूषित किया गया। 19वें दीक्षांत समारोह में मुख्य अतिथि कुलाधिपतिध्राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से नि), उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत, कुलपति प्रोफेसर दीवान सिंह रावत आदि ने संयुक्त रूप से दीप प्रज्वलित कर समारोह का शुभारंभ किया। जबकि मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने उपाधि प्राप्त कर रहे विद्यार्थियों, शोधार्थियों को बधाई संदेश देते हुए उनके उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की।डीएसबी परिसर के एएन सभागार में आयोजित 19वां दीक्षांत समारोह में मुख्य अतिथि राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से नि) ने सभी उपाधि धारकों को बधाई दी। उन्होंने कहा कि उपाधि प्राप्त कर रहे और उनकी सफलता में योगदान देने वाले परिजन और गुरुजनों का परिश्रम है। राज्यपाल ने कहा कि कुमाऊं विवि नवाचारों, अनुसंधान और समाजोपयोगी पहलों के कारण भारत ही नहीं बल्कि पूरे विश्व में अपनी पहचान बना चुका है। साथ ही सरकार द्वारा भी शिक्षकों और छात्रों को अनुसंधान के लिए आंतरिक शोध वित्त पोषण के तहत योग्य शिक्षकों को शोध कार्य हेतु आर्थिक सहायता, छात्रों में शिक्षकों को उनके नवाचारों को पेटेंट कराने में सहायता प्रदान करने के लिए पेटेंट सेल की स्थापना, सेमिनार वित्त पोषण के तहत राष्ट्रीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सेमिनार में भाग लेने के लिए वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान की जा रही है। उन्होंने बताया कि शिक्षा मंत्रालय भारत सरकार द्वारा पीएम उषा के अंतर्गत कुमाऊं विवि को मल्टी डिसीप्लीनरी एजुकेशन एवं रिसर्च यूनिवर्सिटीज (मेरु) के रुप में 100 करोड़ का अनुदान प्राप्त हुआ है। जो विवि के लिए नहीं बल्कि राज्य के लिए महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि है। साथ ही उन्होंने बताया कि राज्य की संस्कृति-विरासत को संजोए रखने के लिए प्राइमरी स्कूलों में कुमाऊंनी-गढ़वाली, जौनसारी आदि ऐसी बोलियां भी पठन पाठन में लागू की गई है। साथ ही इसी वर्ष विवि ने नेशनल इंस्टिट्यूशन रैंकिंग फ्रेमवर्क में प्रतिष्ठित 51-100 श्रेणी में स्थान प्राप्त किया, जबकि फार्मेसी विभाग ने राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर 62वां स्थान हासिल कर अपनी उत्कृष्टता का प्रर्दशन किया। विवि में एक मजबूत शोध संस्कृति को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए एक आंतरिक शोध निधि की स्थापना की गई, जिसमें 65 शिक्षकों को 1.25 करोड़ का वित्तीय अनुदान और टैलेंट हंट नामक एक विशेष वित्तीय सहायता कार्यक्रम शुरु किया गया, जिसका वार्षिक बजट 30 लाख रुपए है। कार्यक्रम का संचालन प्रोफेसर दिव्या जोशी उपाध्याय ने किया।
