नई दिल्ली । राष्ट्रीय जांच एजेंसी ने तमिलनाडु और केरल में सात स्थानों पर विझिंजम हथियार तस्करी मामले में आरोपी से जुड़े परिसरों की तलाशी ले आतंकी संगठन एलटीटीई से संबंधित किताबें बरामद कीं। एनआईए के प्रवक्ता ने बताया कि आतंकवाद विरोधी जांच एजेंसी ने ईरान, पाकिस्तान से श्रीलंका हथियारों, गोला-बारूद और नशीले पदार्थों की तस्करी में शामिल आरोपियों और संदिग्धों के परिसरों में तमिलनाडु के चेन्नई और तिरुवल्लूर जिलों और केरल के एर्नाकुलम जिले में सात स्थानों पर तलाशी ली। आतंकी संगठन से संबंधित किताबें, मोबाइल फोन, सिमकार्ड और टैबलेट सहित सात डिजिटल उपकरणों सहित विभिन्न आपत्तिजनक दस्तावेज जब्त किए गए। इस साल 5 अप्रैल को केरल के त्रिवेंद्रम में आर्म्स एक्ट और आईपीसी की धाराओं के तहत छह श्रीलंकाई नागरिकों के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज किया गया था, जिन्हें गश्त के दौरान इस साल 18 मार्च को अरब सागर में विझिंजम तट पर 300 किलोग्राम हेरोइन, पांच एके-47 राइफल और 1,000 लाइव राउंड की खेप के साथ रोका गया था। एनआईए ने साल एक मई को जांच अपने हाथ में लेकर दो और लोगों सुरेश और सुंदरराजन को दो अगस्त को गिरफ्तार किया था।
