देहरादून। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कार्बेट नेशनल पार्क में जंगल सफारी के दौरान वन्यजीवन की अद्भुत और रोमांचकारी झलक का अनुभव किया। उन्होंने कहा कि यह अनुभव केवल प्रकृति की सुंदरता को देखने का नहीं, बल्कि जैव विविधता और प्रकृति की अनमोल विरासत से जुड़ने का अवसर भी है। मुख्यमंत्री ने बताया कि राज्य सरकार के निरंतर प्रयासों के फलस्वरूप जंगल सफारी पर्यटन को आज एक नई पहचान मिली है। देश-विदेश से बड़ी संख्या में पर्यटक उत्तराखण्ड आ रहे हैं, जिससे राज्य की पर्यटन आधारित अर्थव्यवस्था को मजबूती मिली है। इसके साथ ही स्थानीय लोगों के लिए स्वरोजगार और आजीविका के नए द्वार भी खुले हैं। इस अवसर पर ‘एक पेड़ माँ के नाम’ अभियान के अंतर्गत वन विभाग, स्थानीय समुदाय और पर्यावरण प्रेमियों के सहयोग से 1000 से अधिक पौधों का सामूहिक रोपण किया गया। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि यह महज एक पौधा रोपण नहीं, बल्कि मातृत्व और प्रकृति के प्रति सम्मान का भावपूर्ण प्रतीक है। मुख्यमंत्री ने वन विभाग की टीम से भी भेंट की और उनके द्वारा वनों व वन्यजीवों की सुरक्षा हेतु किए जा रहे कार्यों की सराहना की। उन्होंने विभाग की प्रतिबद्धता और समर्पण को राज्य की हरियाली और जैव विविधता के संरक्षण हेतु अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण बताया।
