नई दिल्ली। पाकिस्तान के कराची में भीषण हादसा हुआ है। कराची के मेहरान कस्बे में स्थित एक केमिकल फैक्ट्री में आग लगने से कम से कम 15 लोग जिंदा जल गए हैं। आग बुझाने के साथ ही शवों को बाहर निकालने का काम जारी है। मृतकों की संख्या और बढ़ सकती है। पुलिस अधिकारियों ने बताया कि अब तक 15 शव निकाले जा चुके हैं। फैक्ट्री के अंदर 25 और लोग फंसे हुए हैं और आशंका जताई जा रही है, वे भी मारे गए। पाकिस्तानी रेंजर्स (सिंध) के प्रवक्ता के मुताबिक, फैक्ट्री में राहत और बचाव का काम चल रहा है। पाकिस्तानी रेंजर्स को भी बचाव अभियान में लगाया गया है। प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों का कहना है कि आग सुबह 10 बजे लगी। फायर ब्रिगेड के कर्मचारी देर से मौके पर पहुंचे, इसलिए इतने अधिक लोग मारे गए हैं। बचाव में जुटे अधिकारियों को धुएं की वजह से भी काफी दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ा। शवों को निकालकर जिन्ना अस्पताल पहुंचाया गया है। अभी तक कुछ शवों की ही पहचान हुई है। मृतकों में एक ही परिवार के चार लोग शामिल हैं। बचाव के दौरान तो दमकलकर्मी भी जख्मी हुए हैं। फायर ब्रिगेड के अधिकारियों का कहना है कि केमिकल का इस्तेमाल यहां कई उत्पादों को तैयार करने के लिए किया जाता था। आग इनमें से ही केमिकल के किसी ड्रम में लगी और इसने पूरी फैक्ट्री को चपेट में ले लिया। फैक्ट्री से बाहर निकलने का एक ही रास्ता था, जिस वजह से मजदूर बाहर नहीं निकल पाए।
