रुद्रपुर। बाघ के हमले में एक वृ( की मौत के बाद वन विभाग हरकत में आ गया है। वन विभाग ने घटना स्थल के आसपास ट्रैप कैमरे लगाए हैं। इसके अलावा वन ग्रामों में सोलर लाइट भी लगाई हैं। इस समय पड़ रही भीषण गर्मी के कारण जंगली जानवर पानी के नजदीक आ रहे हैं। बूढ़ाबाग के ग्रामीण का शव भी सनिया नाले के पास बरामद किया गया था। इससे यह संभावना जताई जा रही है कि बाघ यहां पानी की तलाश में आया होगा। मई माह में पड़ रही भीषण गर्मी में वन्य जीव पानी की तलाश में आबादी से सटे क्षेत्र में नजर आ रहे हैं। जंगल के अंदर के जल श्रोत सूखने के बाद आबादी के पास पहने वाले नालों की ओर बाघ नजर आ रहे हैं। बीते कुछ समय से चकरपुर के जंगल के आसपास तीन से चार बाघ पानी के नजदीक घूमते और नदी नालों में खेलते नजर आ रहे हैं। बूढ़ाबाग गांव में बाघ के हमले में बुजुर्ग की मौत के बाद आसपास के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में दहशत का माहौल है। बुजुर्ग का क्षतविक्षत शव बुधवार को मिला था। इसके बाद वन कर्मियों ने बाघों की गतिविधि पर नजर रखने के लिए ट्रैप कैमरे लगाने शुरू कर दिए हैं। एसडीओ संचिता वर्मा के निर्देशन पर खटीमा रेंज के अंतर्गत गोसीकुआं, वनरावत बस्ती, सनिया नाला, बिल्हरी आदि गावों में वन विभाग की टीम ने पांच सौर ऊर्जा व दो ट्रैप कमरे लगाए गए। वन अधिकारियों ने ग्रामीणों से क्षेत्र में बाघ नजर आने पर इसकी सूचना तुरंत विभाग को देने को कहा। इस दौरान रेंजर महेश चंद्र जोशी, विपिन कुमार, टेकचंद, नित्यानंद भट्ट, मुकश कुमार, अनुज मिश्रा, सुभाष कुमार आदि मौजूद थे।
