नानकमत्ता। वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक द्वारा नशामुक्त अभियान के तहत जनपद में अपराधों की रोकथाम, नशा,मादक पदार्थों एंव ड्रग्स की बढ़ती प्रवृति पर प्रभावी अंकुश लगाये जाने व अवैध तरीके से नशीले पदार्थों का क्रय विक्रय करने वालों के विरुद्ध प्रभावी चैकिंग अभियान हेतु आदेशित नानकमत्ता पुलिस टीम ने सुनखरी तिराहे पर चैकिंग के दौरान बिना हेलमेट पहने दो मोटरसाईकिल सवार जो पुलिस को देखकर भागने लगे घेराबंदी कर पकड़ा । दोनों की तलाशी लेने पर क्रमशः 4.65 ग्राम अवैध स्मैक तथा 4.18 ग्राम (Di-acetyl Morphine) बरामद हुई। अवैध स्मैक बरामदगी के आधार पर उक्त व्यक्तियों को धारा 8/22/60 NDPS ACT के तहत गिरफ्तार कर इनके विरुद्ध केस पंजीकृत किया गया। अभियुक्त ने पूछताछ में बरामदा स्मैक बरेली क्षेत्र से लाकर नानकमत्ता क्षेत्र में नशे के आदी युवाओं को महंगे दामों पर बेचना बताया। अभियुक्तो ने अपना नाम जिशान रजा पुत्र अनवर हुसैन उम्र 24 वर्ष निवासी ग्राम नकुलिया थाना सितारगंज व मुस्तकीम पुत्र शफीक अहमद उम्र 22 वर्ष निवासी नकुलिया थाना सितारगंज बताया है।
उनके कब्जे से स्मैक परिवहन में निरुद्ध मो0सा0 स्पैलेंडर भी बरामद की है। पुलिस अभियुक्तगणों के आपराधिक इतिहास खंगाल रही है। पुलिस टीम मे एसआई नवीन बुधानी, का. सुरेन्द्र सिंह, बोविन्दर कुमार, गिरीश मठपाल, विनीत कुमार थे।
