काशीपुर। रुद्रपुर में परिवहन कर अधिकारी के रूप में तैनात जसवीर सिंह ने खुद को कनपटी में गोली मारकर आत्महत्या करने की कोशिश की। उन्हें गंभीर हालत में एलडी भट्ट उप जिला चिकित्सालय में भर्ती कराया गया। जहां से चिकित्सकों ने गम्भीर हालत देखते हुए हायर सेंटर रेफर कर दिया। खुदकुशी की कोशिश के कारणों का पता नहीं चल सका है। रामनगर रोड निवासी जसवीर सिंह पूर्व छात्र संघ उपाध्यक्ष और राज्य आंदोलनकारी भी रहे हैं। पड़ोसियों का कहना है कि जसवीर ने सुबह अपने निवास पर अपनी कनपटी से सटाकर गोली मार ली। गोली की आवाज सुनकर स्वजनों और आसपास के लोगों में हड़कंप मच गया। आनन फानन में परिजन उन्हें लेकर एलडी भट्ट अस्पताल पहुंचे। जहां उनका प्राथमिक उपचार किया गया। एलडी भट्ट अस्पताल के चिकित्सकों ने नाजुक बताकर जसवीर को रेफर कर दिया। जिसके बाद उन्हें मुरादाबाद रोड स्थित सहोता अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया। चिकित्सकों ने उसे आइसीयू में रखा है जहां उनकी स्थिति अब भी नाजुक बनी हुई है। जसवीर ने आत्महत्या करने की कोशिश क्यों की, यह अभी पता नहीं चल सका है। कोतवाली पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही है।
