पुलिस गिरफ्त में अभियुक्त व बरामद उपकरण व शराब
काशीपुर। नशे के खिलाफ चलाए जा रहे अभियान में कुंडेश्वरी चौकी पुलिस ने अवैध कच्ची शराब के ठिकाने पर दबिश देकर वहां से एक कारोबारी को दबोचते हुये उसके कब्जे से 100 लीटर कच्ची शराब बरामद की है। कार्यवाही के दौरान एक अन्य शराब तस्कर पुलिस को देख मौके से भाग गया। पुलिस ने कच्ची शराब के परिवहन में प्रयुक्त की जाने वाली एक बाइक तथा शराब बनाने के उपकरण भी बरामद किए हैं।
जानकारी के अनुसार वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक के निर्देश पर जिले भर में नशे के खिलाफ चलाए अभियान के क्रम में कुंडेश्वरी पुलिस ने सूचना के आधार पर जगतपुर के जंगल में शराब के अड्डे पर छापामार अभियान चलाते हुए वहां से ग्राम जोगीपुरा बाजपुर निवासी सुखबीर सिंह पुत्र किशन सिंह को दबोच कर उसके कब्जे से दो रबर की ट्यूब में 50-50 लीटर कच्चर कच्ची शराब बरामद करते हुए मौके से शराब ले जाने में प्रयुक्त की जाने वाली एक बाइक संख्या यूए-06 जी-1791 समेत शराब बनाने के उपकरण बरामद किए। पुलिस की अचानक छापामार कार्यवाही से शराब कारोबारियों में हड़कंप मच गया। इस दौरान ग्राम जगतपुर निवासी बलजीत सिंह पुत्र प्रेम सिंह पुलिस को देखकर जंगल के रास्ते से मौके से फरार हो गया। पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार शराब कारोबारी का धारा 60 आबकारी अधिनियम के अंतर्गत चालान करते हुए अभियुक्त को कोर्ट पेश कर दिया। पुलिस टीम में उप निरीक्षक सुरेंद्र सिंह, कांस्टेबल विजय कुमार, कांस्टेबल लक्षमन सिंह, कांस्टेबल भुवन सिंह शामिल थे।
