काशीपुर। क्रिकेटर विराट कोहली के कोच राजकुमार शर्मा ने आज यहां रामनगर रोड स्थित एक होटल के सभागार में पत्रकारों से बातचीत करते हुए कहा कि टीम के कप्तान पर मैच में जीत हार का काफी कुछ दारोमदार निर्भर करता है।
उन्होंने कहा कि पूर्व में इंग्लेंड के खिलाफ खेले गये पांचवे टैस्ट में भारत के हार का कारण अनुभवहीन कप्तान
रहा। उन्होंने कहा कि अब तक छह कप्तान बदल चुके हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि एक ऐसे कप्तान को टीम के नेतृत्व की
जिम्मेदारी दी गई जिसने कभी किसी लेवल की कप्तानी ही न की थी। उन्होंने कहा कि जहां तक विराट कोहली की
बात है पूर्व सीरिज में उनका प्रदर्शन अच्छा देखा गया। उन्होंने कहा कि देश भर में क्रिकेट को लेकर युवाओं में नए
सिरे से उत्साह जगा है। ऐसे में सरकार को चाहिए कि प्रतिभावान खिलाड़ियों को सुविधएं मुहैया कराते हुए उन्हें आगे लाने का प्रयास करना चाहिए। उन्होंने काशीपुर के खस्ताहाल हो चुके स्पोर्ट्स स्टेडियम पर चिंता व्यक्त की और कहा
कि इस बारे में वह सरकार तथा शासन के समक्ष बात रखेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि पौराणिक नगरी काशीपुर में खेल से जुड़े तमाम संसाधन स्टेडियम होने के बावजूद यदि प्रतिभावों को यदि सुविधाएं उपलब्ध नहीं हो पा रही हैं तो यह चिंता का विषय है। उन्होंने कहा कि भविष्य में खेल व खिलाड़ियों को और हाईटेक करने के प्रयास की कड़ी में सरकार से मंसौदा तैयार किया जायेगा
