कार के टायर से लिपटा मिला पैंगोलिन
ऋषिकेश्। श्यामपुर के निजी स्कूल की पार्किंग में कार के टायर पर रहस्यमयी जानवर लिपटा देख हड़कंप मच गया। स्कूल प्रबंधन ने फौरन इसकी जानकारी वन विभाग की ऋषिकेश रेंज को दी, जिसके बाद मौके पर पहुंची वनकर्मियों ने कार का टायर खोलकर उसे बाहर निकाला। जांच-पड़ताल में पता चला कि यह विलुप्त प्रजाति का दुर्लभ जानवर पैंगोलिन (सल्लू सांप) है। फिलहाल वनकर्मियों ने पैंगोलिन को सुरक्षित रेंज के जंगल में छोड़ दिया है। जानकारी के मुताबिक यह घटना शुक्रवार देर रात की है। निजी स्कूल में प्रधानाचार्य की कार पार्किंग में खड़ी थी। वह कार से किसी काम के लिए निकले, तो अचानक उन्हें टायर पर अजीब से जानवर लिपटा दिखा, जिससे उनके होश उड़ गए। स्टाफ को बुलाया, तो उनमें भी पैंगोलिन को देख हड़कंप मच गया। रेंज अधिकारी जीएस धामंदा के मुताबिक स्कूल में कार के टायर पर लिपटे मिले सल्लू सांप का सुरक्षित रेस्क्यू किया गया है। उसे रेंज के जंगल में दीमक की बांधी के पास छोड़ गया है। बताया कि यह दुलर्भ वन्यजीव है, जिसकी निगरानी लगातार वनकर्मियों की टीम करती है। बताया कि इन दिनों बरसात है, जिससे बिलों में पानी भर रहा है और दीपक व चटियां भी बरसाती पानी में कम मिल रही हैं। यह दोनों ही इस जीव का भोजन है, जिसकी तलाश में संभवतरू यह भटकता हुआ यहां तक पहुंचा होगा। फिलहाल सल्लू सांप सुरक्षित है। बताया कि यह विलुप्त प्रायरू प्रजाति का वन्यजीव है।
