काशीपुर। तेज रफ्तार कार के चालक ने ई-रिक्शा को रौंद डाला और फरार हो गया। बेहत गंभीर रूप से जख्मी ई-रिक्शा चालक को उपचार हेतु एक निजी अस्पताल में दाखिल कराया गया है। वहीं, सूचना पर पहुंची पुलिस ने कार कब्जे में लेकर चालक की तलाश शुरू कर दी है। इधर, घटना की तहरीर पुलिस को सौंपी जा रही है। जानकारी के मुताबिक 45 वर्षीय मंजीत शर्मा पुत्र स्व. चन्द्रसेन शर्मा निवासी मिस्सरवाला मोड़ काशीपुर, पेशे से ई-रिक्शा चालक है। वृहस्पतिवार देर सायं वह आजीविका पूरी कर अपने घर लौट रहा था कि नये ढेला पुल के समीप श्मशानघाट के नजदीक पहुंचते ही देहरादून से आती एक राजनीतिक पार्टी का झंडा लगी तेज रफ्तार कार संख्या-UK18-5055 के चालक ने ई-रिक्शा को जबर्दस्त टक्कर मार दी। हादसे में ई-रिक्शा बुरी तरह क्षतिग्रस्त होने के साथ ही चालक मंजीत बेहद गंभीर रूप से जख्मी हो गया। बेहद गंभीर हालत में मंजीत को संजीवनी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। सूचना पर पहुंची पुलिस ने कार कब्जे में लेकर चालक की तलाश शुरू कर दी है। इधर, घटना की तहरीर पुलिस को सौंपी जा रही है।
