काशीपुर। श्री चामुण्डा देवी मंदिर परिसर में उत्तरायणी मकर संक्रांति मेला समिति की बैठक हुई। बैठक की अध्यक्षता ज्ञानेंद्र जोशी ने की। बैठक में बताया गया कि मेले का उद्घाटन 14 जनवरी को वरिष्ठ भाजपा नेता दीपक बाली करेंगे और समापन कुमाऊं नरेश के सी सिंह बाबा द्वारा किया जाएगा।
बैठक में बताया गया कि रविवार 14 जनवरी को आयोजित होने वाले उत्तरायणी मकर संक्रान्ति मेले की समस्त तैयारियां पूर्ण हो गई हैं। मेला प्रातः 8 बजे पूजा अर्चना के साथ प्रारम्भ होगा। पूजा के मुख्य यजमान समाज सेवी पंकज टंडन होंगे। दोपहर 12 बजे मेले का उद्घाटन वरिष्ठ भाजपा नेता दीपक बाली के द्वारा किया जायेगा। मेले में स्थानीय स्कूल की टीमों के अलावा माँ शारदा सांस्कृतिक समिति, पिथौरागढ़ के कलाकारों द्वारा मनमोहक सांस्कृतिक कार्यकम प्रस्तुत किये जायेंगे। वहीं, भुवन राम एण्ड पार्टी जागेश्वर के छोलिया नर्तकों द्वारा भी कुमाऊंनी नृत्य पेश किया जाएगा। साथ ही मेले में ऐपण व रंगोली प्रतियोगिता का भी आयोजन किया जायेगा। मेले में आयोजित प्रतियोगिताओं में भाग लेने के लिए 13 जनवरी तक नाम लिखा जायेगा। मेले का समापन कुमायूं नरेश केसी सिंह बाबा द्वारा कलाकारों को पुरस्कार वितरण के साथ किया जायेगा। बैठक में पूरन चन्द्र कान्डपाल, ज्ञानेन्द्र जोशी, सुनील टन्डन, दीपक कुमार पांडे, महेश चन्द्र पांडे, मनोज भंडारी, जतिन कान्डपाल, जयंत पांडे, आदित्य पांडे, निर्मला काण्डपाल, पुष्पा रौतेला, सारिका भट्ट, लता काण्डपाल आदि उपस्थित थे, जिन्होंने नगर व क्षेत्र की जनता से विनम्र अनुरोध किया है कि अधिक से अधिक संख्या में मेले में पहुंचकर मेले को कामयाब बनाएं।
