हैदराबाद। आंध्र प्रदेश में अय्यागरी साई कृकृष्णा नाम के एक विवाहित पुजारी पर एक महिला की हत्या करने और उसके शव को तेलंगाना के सरूरनगर में रजिस्ट्रार कार्यालय के पीछे एक नाले में फेंकने के आरोप में मामला दर्ज किया गया था। यह घटना तब प्रकाश में आई जब साईं कृष्ण ने खुद एक गुमशुदगी की शिकायत दर्ज कराई, जिसमें दावा किया गया कि उन्होंने पीड़ित कुरुगंती अप्सरा को शमशाबाद बस स्टैंड पर छोड़ दिया था, क्योंकि वह भद्राचलम की यात्रा करने की योजना बना रही थी। उसने आगे कहा कि वह तब से किसी भी कॉल का जवाब नहीं दे रही थी और 3 मई से लापता थी।
हालांकि, जैसे-जैसे जांच आगे बढ़ी, सीसीटीवी और अन्य तकनीकी डेटा खंगाले जाने के बाद पुलिस को साईं कृकृष्णा के खाते पर संदेह हुआ। इसके बाद पूछताछ के दौरान साई कृष्णा ने अप्सरा को मारने का खुलासा करते हुए अपराध कबूल कर लिया।
पुलिस के अनुसार साई कृष्णा पहले से शादीशुदा था और उसके दो बच्चे भी हैं। हालांकि, वह अप्सरा के साथ विवाहेतर संबंध में था। साई कृष्णा की स्वीकारोक्ति के अनुसार अप्सरा उस पर उससे शादी करने का दबाव बना रही थी। इसलिए साई ने उसकी हत्या कर दी।
पुलिस के अनुसार आरोपियों ने शमशाबाद में अप्सरा की हत्या कर दी और फिर उसके शव को सरूरनगर ले जाने से पहले प्लास्टिक के कवर में पैक कर दिया। उन्होंने शरीर को एमआरओ कार्यालय के पीछे एक मेनहोल में फेंक दिया, मंदिर के करीब जहां उन्होंने पुजारी के रूप में सेवा की। साई कृष्णा के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज किया गया था और मामले की आगे की जांच चल रही थी।
