काशीपुर। विद्युत विभाग की टीम ने नगर क्षेत्र में अलग-अलग स्थानों पर विद्युत चोरी के खिलाफ अभियान चलाया। इस दौरान टीम ने लगभग एक दर्जन घरों में विद्युत चोरी पकड़ी। टीम ने उनके खिलाफ कोतवाली पुलिस को तहरीर सौंपी।
शुक्रवार की देर शाम उपखंड अधिकारी सुनील कुमार के नेतृत्व में टीम ने अलग-अलग स्थानों पर चेकिंग अभियान चलाया। इस दौरान टीम ने मोहल्ला कटरामालियान में राजकुमार पुत्र बद्री प्रसाद, रमेश चंद्र पुत्र बद्री प्रसाद, राकेश कुमार यादव पुत्र बालमुकुंद, राजकुमार यादव पुत्र दारा प्रसाद व मोहल्ला ओझान में नजाकत हुसैन पुत्र नसीब उल्ला, ललित पुत्र ताराचंद के घरों में विद्युत मीटर से पहले कट मारकर बिजली चोरी पकड़ी गई। विद्युत विभाग की टीम ने सभी लोगों के खिलाफ कोतवाली पुलिस में तहरीर सौंपी। पुलिस ने तहरीर के आधार पर सभी के खिलाफ 135 विद्युत अधिनियम के तहत केस दर्ज किया है।
