अलीगढ़। बाराद्वारी बिजली घर में रविवार को अचानक लगी आग से लाखों रुपए के मीटर जलकर खाक हो गए। जिससें विद्युत आपूर्ति व्यवस्था भी रात में कुछ घंटे बाधित रही। रविवार को पटाखों की चिंगारी से बिजली घर के पास मीटर गोदाम में आग लग गई। यहां पर बिजली निगम द्वारा पुराने मीटर भारी संख्या में रखे गए थे। देखते ही देखते गोदाम में आग भड़क गई। जिसमें गोदाम में रखे सैकड़ों मीटर जलकर खाक हो गया। उपखंड अधिकारी एके सिंह ने बताया कि गोदाम में रखे लगभग सभी मीटर जल चुके हैं। इसी कारण बिजली व्यवस्था भी प्रभावित थी। जिसे आग बुझाने के बाद बहाल कर दिया गया था।
