करंट लगने से खेत स्वामी और महिला मजदूर की मौत
रुद्रपुर। धान की फसल की निराई के दौरान खेत स्वामी और महिला मजदूर पानी की मोटर में लगाई गई बिजली की तार में बह रहे करंट की चपेट में आ गए। इससे दोनों झुलस गए। दोनों को निजी अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहां चिकित्सकों ने उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया। मौत की खबर मिलते ही दोनों के परिवारों में कोहराम मच गया। पुलिस ने शवों को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया है। बरेली रोड स्थित नितिन इलेक्ट्राॅनिक्स दुकान के स्वामी 64 वर्षीय राजकुमार खुग्गर पुत्र लालचंद आजाद नगर वार्ड दो में रहते थे। उनका गुरुकुल स्कूल के निकट खेत है, जिसमें धान की फसल लगी है। इन दिनों खेत में धान की निराई चल रही है। सोमवार सुबह छह बजे राजकुमार अपने खेत पर पांच मजदूरों को लेकर धान की निराई कराने गए थे। बताया जा रहा है कि इस दौरान वह खेत में लगी पानी की मोटर में जाने वाली बिजली की तार को उठाकर खेत में लगी तारबाड़ के खंभे पर रखने लगे। इस दौरान तारबाड़ में करंट प्रवाहित होने से राजकुमार और वहां काम कर रही 62 वर्षीय महिला मजदूर जैवन्ती पत्नी स्व. सुरेश गिरी निवासी ग्राम दोपहरिया थाना पुलभट्टा बिजली के करंट की चपेट में आ गए। दोनों बुरी तरह झुलस गए। शोर शराबा होने पर वहां अन्य लोग इकट्ठे हो गए। आनन-फानन में दोनों को रुद्रपुर के निजी अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहां चिकित्सकों ने उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया। माना जा रहा है कि तार थोड़ी कटी थी, जिस कारण तारबाड़ में करंट फैल गया।
