काशीपुर-वरिष्ठ कांग्रेसी नेत्री व उत्तराखंड कांग्रेस कमेटी की प्रदेश सचिव अलका पाल ने राज्य स्थापना दिवस के अवसर पर भाजपा के ऊपर आरोप लगाते हुए कहा कि भाजपा ने युवाओं के सपनों को छलने का काम किया l जिस विश्वास के साथ युवाओं ने राज्य आंदोलन में अपने प्राणों की आहुति दी, आज उन्हीं युवाओं को रोजगार के लिए दर-दर भटकना पड़ रहा है l अफसोस का विषय है कि राज्य की भाजपा सरकार युवाओं को कोरे आश्वासनों के सिवा अपने कार्यकाल में कुछ नहीं दे पाई l पीसीसी सचिव अलका ने आरोप लगाते हुए कहा कि उत्तराखंड राज्य की कल्पना उसके जल- जंगल- जमीन को संरक्षित करते हुए पलायन को रोकने की थी, उस वक्त राज्य के लोगों को उम्मीद थी कि हमारा राज्य बनने से विकास और रोजगार के नए रास्ते खुलेंगे, लेकिन राज्य की भाजपा सरकार के द्वारा अभी तक कोई ठोस औद्योगिक एवं रोजगार नीति न बनाकर उत्तराखंड के लोगों के हितों पर कुठाराघात किया है, तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री पं. नारायण दत्त तिवारी ने स्थानीय उद्योगों में युवाओं को 70% आरक्षण देने के लिए जो अध्यादेश बनाया था, वर्तमान भाजपा सरकार ने उसको भी ताक पर रख दिया l कांग्रेस नेत्री अलका पाल ने आरोप लगाते हुए कहा कि उत्तराखंड राज्य का निर्माण महिलाओं और युवाओं की कुर्बानियों का साझा प्रयास है, अफसोस का विषय है कि आज नारी शक्ति भी अपने आप को उपेक्षित महसूस करती हैं lमहिलाओं आधारित उद्योग-धंधे पूरे प्रदेश में चौपट हो गए l महिलाओं पर अत्याचारों का ग्राफ निरंतर बढ़ रहा है l कानून व्यवस्था का लचरपन इस सरकार की नाकामी को दर्शाता है, सरकार में बैठे हुए नुमाइंदों को महिला कल्याण की कोई चिंता नहीं, केवल सत्ता पाने तक भाजपा सरकार की कोशिश में उत्तराखंड की महिला और युवा शक्ति अपने आप को ठगा हुआ महसूस करती है l उन्होंने कहा कि आगामी विधानसभा चुनावों में कांग्रेस ठोस नीतियों के कारण राज्य की सत्ता में लौट कर आएगी और उत्तराखंड के जल- जंगल- जमीन और रोजगार को संरक्षण करने के लिए ईमानदार रहेगी l उत्तराखंड राज्य की स्थापना कल्पना को धरातल पर साकार करने के लिए कांग्रेश के पास ठोस नीतियां है l
