ठाकुरद्वारा कोतवाली के गांव की एक युवती जनपद बिजनौर के थाना अफजलगढ़ क्षेत्र के एक गांव में अपने रिश्तेदार के यहां विवाह समारोह में सम्मिलित होने गई थी I आरोप है कि युवती का विवाह स्थल से अपहरण कर जंगल में ले जाकर बारी बारी से सामूहिक जबरन दुष्कर्म किया । आरोपियों ने वीडियो क्लिप बनाकर सोशल मीडिया पर डालने की धमकी देते हुए 15 लाख रुपए ठग लिए गए।
युवती ने घटना की जानकारी अपने परिजनों को दी । काफी प्रयास के बाद भी बिलारी पुलिस ने आरोपियों के खिलाफ रिपोर्ट दर्ज नहीं की । पुलिस लगातार टालमटोल करती रही । परिजन युरती को साथ लेकर पुलिस महानिरीक्षक से मिलकर शिकायती पत्र देकर आरोपियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की मांग की I पुलिस महा निरीक्षक के आदेश पर तीन सगे भाइयों व पिता सहित चार लोगों के विरुद्ध पुलिस ने विभिन्न धाराओं में मुकदमा पंजीकृत कर जांच शुरू कर दी ।
कोतवाली क्षेत्र के एक गांव की निवासी युवती 16 अप्रैल 2019 को अपनी रिश्तेदारी में जनपद बिजनौर के थाना अफजलगढ़ के गांव अलीयारपुर शादी समारोह में गई थी। आरोप है कि विवाह स्थल से उसका अपहरण कर जंगल में ले जाकर उसके साथ सामूहिक उसके साथ जबरन बलात्कार किया । उसकी वीडियो क्लिप बनाकर सोशल मीडिया पर डालने की धमकी देते हुए से अपने खाते में कई बार में 15 लाख रुपये ड्लवाये किशोरी ने परिजनों को घटना की जानकारी दी तो उन्होंने रिपोर्ट दर्ज कराने के लिए हर संभव प्रयास किए लेकिन सफलता नहीं मिली। युवती के परिजनों ने ढाई साल तक आरोपियों को सजा दिलाने के लिए एड़ी से चोटी तक का जोर लगाया । लेकिन जनपद की पुलिस ने पीड़ित परिवार की एक न सुनी । परेशान होकर उन्होंने पुलिस महानिरीक्षक की शरण ली। पुलिस महा निरीक्षक के आदेश पर कोतवाली पुलिस ने क्षेत्र के गांव सुल्तानपुर खद्दर निवासी अभिषेक कुमार, हिमांशु और अभिषेक पुत्र गण रणजीत सिंह और उनके पिता रणजीत सिंह पुत्र गोकल सिंह के खिलाफ रिपोर्ट दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी ।
