करनाल। करनाल जिले के उचानी गांव में हॉर्टिकल्चर विभाग की तरफ से खोदा गड्ढा दो बच्चों के लिये मौत का कुंआ बन गया है। विभाग की लापरवाही के चलते गड्ढे में बारिश भर गया। जिसमें डूबने से दो बच्चों की मौत हो गई। दोनों बच्चे आपस में मौसेरे भाई लगते थे और दोनों अपने मामा के घर छुट्टियां मनाने आए थे। यह सूचना मिलते ही मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस ने दोनों को बच्चों के शव कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया। दोनों की बच्चों की पहचान जस्सी (9) और कृष्ण कांत (11) के रुप में हुई। दोनों ही बच्चे अपने मामा के घर छुट्टियों बिताने आए थे।
कहा जा रहा है कि हॉर्टिकल्चर विभाग की एक लापरवाही के कारण दोनों की मौत हो गई। दरसअल करनाल के उचानी गांव में हॉर्टिकल्चर विभाग का दफ्तर है। वहीं पर विभाग की तरफ से एक गड्डा खोदा गया था। इस गड्ढे में बारिश का पानी भर गया था। इस गड्ढे के पास गांव के बच्चे खेल रहे थे। दो बच्चे खेलते-खेलते इस गड्ढे में जा गिरे। गड्ढे में ज्यादा पानी भरे होने को कारण दोनों इसमे डूब गए। दोनों बच्चों की मौत हो गई। बच्चों की मौत की सूचना मिलने के बाद परिजननों का रो-रो कर बुरा हाल है। परिजनों का कहना है कि विभाग की लापरवाही के चलते ये हादसा हुआ है। वहीं हादसे की सूचना मिलने के बाद पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी। पुलिस ने बताया कि दोनों ही बच्चे अपने मामा के घर छुट्टियां बिताने आए थे। दोनों बच्चों की पानी से भरे गड्ढे में डूब जाने से मौत हुई है। फिलहाल मृतकों के परिजनों के बयान दर्ज कर लिए गए हैं और मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी गई है।
