-चुनाव प्रचार के लिए अवैध तरीके से करोड़ों रुपये देने का शक
लखनऊ। यूपी के वाराणसी और जौनपुर इलाके में आयकर (आईटी) विभाग की टीम ने कई संदिग्ध कारोबारियों के घर और दुकानों पर छापेमारी कर की। इन पर कुछ राजनीतिक दलों और नेताओं को अवैध तरीके से लाखों-करोड़ों रुपये की मदद, संदिग्ध तरीके से लेनदेन करने का आरोप लगा है। यूपी में आचार संहिता का उल्लंघन करते हुए लाखों-करोड़ों रुपये जमा करने, लेनदेन करने से संबंधित मिली महत्वपूर्ण इनपुट्स के आधार पर आईटी विभाग ने कई टीमों का गठन करके सोमवार सुबह करीब आठ बजे सर्च ऑपरेशन शुरू किया। आयकर विभाग से जुड़े सूत्रों के मुताबिक कई ज्वेलर्स के खिलाफ कुछ दिनों पहले ही इनपुट्स मिला था।
प्राप्त जानकारी के मुताबिक, गहना कोठी ज्वेलर्स, कृतिकुंज ज्वेलर्स के यहां भी आयकर विभाग की छापेमारी चल रही है। गहना कोठी खुद को जौनपुर का सबसे उम्दा गुणवत्ता वाला ज्वेलरी निर्माता बताता रहा है। इस ज्वेलरी शॉप के प्रमुख फिलहाल विनीत सेठ सहित कई अन्य पारिवारिक सदस्य हैं। वहीं दूसरे सर्च लोकेशन की बात करें तो कृतिकुंज ज्वेलर्स के मालिक नन्हेलाल वर्मा हैं, जिनके आवास सहित अन्य लोकेशन पर इनकम टैक्स की छापेमारी चल रही है और दस्तावेजों सहित अन्य सबूतों को खंगाला जा रहा है। कृतिकुंज ज्वेलर्स के मालिक नन्हेलाल वर्मा के दामाद के खिलाफ 6 महीने पहले केंद्रीय जांच एजेंसी सीबीआई की टीम ने भी आय से अधिक मामले से संबंधित मामले के आरोप में छापेमारी की थी। नन्हेलाल वर्मा के दामाद रेलवे विभाग में अधिकारी हैं। सूत्रों के मुताबिक, उस छापेमारी के दौरान भी सीबीआई ने काफी सबूत जब्त किए थे। इस सर्च ऑपरेशन के दौरान क्या -क्या सबूत, दस्तावेज समेत अन्य सामग्री मिली है, इसकी औपचारिक तौर पर पुष्टि मंगलवार शाम या फिर सर्च ऑपरेशन खत्म होने के बाद ही बताया जा सकता है। हालांकि खबर लिखे जाने तक हमें ये जानकारी मिली है कि इनकम टैक्स विभाग को काफी महत्वपूर्ण सबूत मिले हैं, उसी के आधार पर आगे की कार्रवाई को अंजाम दिया जा रहा है।
