काशीपुर। आने वाले त्योहारी सीजन को देखते हुए काशीपुर के सीमावर्ती क्षेत्रों के साथ साथ पड़ोसी राज्य उत्तर प्रदेश की सीमा पर पुलिस प्रशासन अलर्ट हो गया है। किसी भी अप्रिय घटना से बचने के लिए बॉर्डर पर उत्तर प्रदेश से आने वाले सभी वाहनों की चेकिंग की जा रही है। काशीपुर में पड़ोसी राज्य उत्तर प्रदेश के मुरादाबाद के ठाकुरद्वारा, रामपुर के दढ़ियाल तथा जसपुर के बिजनौर सीमा से काशीपुर तथा जसपुर की सीमा सटी हुई है। आने वाले धनतेरस, दीपावली, गोवर्धन, भैयादूज, छठ पर्व के साथ साथ गंगा स्नान का पर्व नजदीक है। ऐसे में काशीपुर और जसपुर पुलिस के द्वारा बॉर्डर पर सघन चेकिंग अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। सघन चेकिंग अभियान के तहत दोपहिया से लेकर चौपहिया वाहनों और बसों तथा ट्रकों आदि की तलाशी अभियान चलाया गया। एसपी काशीपुर चन्द्रमोहन सिंह ने बताया कि पड़ोसी राज्य उत्तर प्रदेश समेत विभिन्न राज्यों से लोग त्योहार मनाने आते जाते हैं। इसी के मद्देनजर सघन चेकिंग अभियान चलाया जा रहा है जिससे कि त्यौहार शांतिपूर्वक मनाए जा सके क्योंकि उत्तराखंड पर्यटन के हिसाब से भी महत्वपूर्ण है। साथ ही विभिन्न राज्यों से लोग उत्तराखंड में त्योहार मनाने आ जा रहे हैं।
