काशीपुर। आर एस एस प्रमुख मोहन भागवत द्वारा पंडितों को लेकर दिये गये बयान पर ब्राह्मण समाज का आक्रोश बढ़ता जा रहा है। आज यहां ब्राह्मण सभा समिति ने कार्रवाई की मांग को लेकर उपजिलाधिकारी कार्यालय के माध्यम से राष्ट्रपति को एक ज्ञापन भेजा।
इससे पूर्व ब्राह्मण सभा भवन काशीपुर में एक बैठक अध्यक्ष, ब्राह्मण सभा समिति काशीपुर की अध्यक्षता में हुई थी। बैठक में रविदास जयन्ती के अवसर पर राष्ट्रीय स्वयं सेवक संघ प्रमुख मोहन भागवत द्वारा ब्राह्मणों के परिप्रेक्ष्य में दिये गये नकारात्मक वक्तव्य की घोर भर्त्सना की गयी। वक्ताओं ने कहा कि यह वक्तव्य तुष्टिकरण की राजनीति से प्रेरित एवं सामाजिक वैमनस्यता को बढ़ावा देने वाला है। उनका कहना था कि पंडित शब्द प्रायः ब्राह्मणों के परिप्रेक्ष्य में ही प्रयोग किया जाता है और जब अवसर रविदास जयन्ती का हो और शब्द संघ प्रमुख के हों तब सम्पूर्ण समाज को विघटन की स्थिति में पहुँचाने के लियें पर्याप्त है। ज्ञापन में मांग की गई है कि संघ प्रमुख मोहन भागवत के विरू( उचित कार्यवाही की जाये ताकि भविष्य में कोई भी समाज में वैमनस्यता फैलाने का प्रयास न करे। ज्ञापन देने वालों में ब्राह्मण सभा समिति अध्यक्ष सुभाष चन्द्र शर्मा, मयंक शर्मा, पीयूष गौड़, सचिन नाडिग, अभिषेक नागर, महेश चंद्र शर्मा, नितिन कौशिक, पंकज शर्मा, हितेश शर्मा, विनायक शर्मा आदि शामिल थे।
