महिला क्रिकेटर कल्पना ने अब उत्तराखंड प्रीमियर लीग 2025 में चयनित होकर नया इतिहास रचा
रुद्रपुर। गोविंद बल्लभ पंत कृषि विश्वविद्यालय की छात्रा कल्पना वर्मा ने क्रिकेट में शानदार प्रदर्शन कर विश्वविद्यालय और उत्तराखंड का नाम रोशन किया है। पंतनगर की एकमात्र महिला क्रिकेटर कल्पना ने अंडर-19 और अंडर-23 टीमों में जगह बनाने के बाद अब उत्तराखंड प्रीमियर लीग 2025 में चयनित होकर नया इतिहास रचा है। वर्तमान में वह सीनियर महिला क्रिकेट टीम के कैंप में अभ्यास कर रही हैं और राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर खेलने को तैयार हैं। साधारण परिवार से आने वाली कल्पना के पिता उमेश वर्मा विश्वविद्यालय के कॉलेज ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी में कार्यरत हैं। उनकी सफलता में अमृति देवी क्रिकेट एकेडमी, बिंदुखत्ता का अहम योगदान रहा है, जहां उन्हें निःशुल्क प्रशिक्षण मिला। विश्वविद्यालय परिवार और प्रदेशवासियों ने उनकी उपलब्धियों पर गर्व जताया है।
