नई दिल्ली । जल्द ही फेसबुक के कई यूनिक और काम के फीचर बंद होने वाले हैं। दरअसल, फेसबुक का नियरबाय फ्रेंड्स फीचर जो लोगों को अन्य फेसबुक यूजर्स के साथ अपनी वर्तमान लोकेशन शेयर करने देता है, अब इस साल 31 मई से उपलब्ध नहीं होगा। सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म्स पर यूजर्स की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, कंपनी ने यूजर्स को नियरबाय फ्रेंड्स फीचर और अन्य लोकेशन बेस्ड फीचर्स के बंद होने के बारे में सूचित करना शुरू कर दिया है। नियरबाय फ्रेंड्स फंक्शनैलिटी यूजर्स को अपने फ्रेंड की रियल टाइम लोकेशन ट्रैक करने की अनुमति देती है। एक बार इनेबल होने पर, ये फीचर यूजर्स को तब सूचित करता है, जब उनके फ्रेंड उनकी वर्तमान लोकेशन के नजदीक होते हैं। नियर फ्रेंड्स के साथ-साथ फेसबुक वेदर अलर्ट, लोकेशन हिस्ट्री और बैकग्राउंड लोकेशन को भी बंद कर रहा है। ट्विटर पर कई यूजर पोस्ट के अनुसार, फेसबुक ने कथित तौर पर फेसबुक ऐप पर एक नोटिफिकेशन के माध्यम से फ्रेंड्स नियरबाय फीचर को बंद करने की घोषणा की। यूजर्स को भेजे गए एक नोटिफिकेशन में कंपनी ने कहा कि यह फीचर जो यूजर्स को यह पता लगाने में मदद करता है कि कौन से फ्रेंड्स आस-पास हैं या यात्रा में हैं, अब 31 मई, 2022 से उपलब्ध नहीं होंगे। फेसबुक ने 2014 में आईओएस और एंड्रॉइड दोनों पर नियरबाय फ्रेंड्स फीचर को रोल करना शुरू किया था। ऑप्शनल फंक्शनैलिटी से पता चलता है कि कौन से दोस्त आस-पास हैं या यात्रा पर हैं। एक बार जब आप नियरबाय फ्रेंड्स को ऑन कर देते हैं, तो आपको फ्रेंड्स के आस-पास होने पर सूचित किया जाएगा, ताकि आप उनसे संपर्क कर सकें और मिल सकें। साथ ही, आप देख सकते हैं कि आपके फ्रेंड कब यात्रा कर रहे हैं और देख सकते हैं कि वे किस शहर में हैं।
