रुद्रपुर । पुलभट्टा पुलिस ने ग्राम भंगा रोड पर 103 ग्राम स्मैक लेकर आ रहे एक शख्स को गिरफ्तार किया है। पकड़ी गई स्मैक की कीमत अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय बाजार में 13 लाख रुपये बताई जा रही है। आरोपी की सुरागरशी पर पुलिस स्थानीय नशे के धंधेबाजों के बारे में जानकारी जुटा रही है। सोमवार को पुलभट्टा थाने में पुलिस क्षेत्राधिकारी ओम प्रकाश शर्मा ने घटना का खुलासा करते हुए बताया कि आगामी विस चुनाव को देखते हुए उत्तराखंड बॉर्डर पर गहनता से चेकिंग अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। रविवार को ग्राम भंगा रोड पर पुलभट्टा थाना इंचार्ज राजेश पांडे की अगुवाई में पुलिस वाहन चेंकिग कर रही थी। इसी दौरान भंगा रोड पर निर्माणाधीन कंपनी के निकट एक बाइक सवार भंगा की ओर से आता दिखाई दिया। पुलिस को देख कर बाइक सवार ने वापस मुड़ कर भागने का प्रयास किया, लेकिन असंतुलित होकर गिर गया। पुलिस ने बाइक सवार को पकड़ लिया। तलाशी लेने पर बाइक सवार के पास से 103 ग्राम स्मैक बरामद हुई। आरोपी ने अपना नाम मो. दानिश पुत्र अंसार अली खान निवासी खानपुरा वार्ड 30 मीरगंज बरेली बताया। पूछताछ के दौरान आरोपी ने बताया कि वह मीरगंज बरेली से स्मैक लाकर किच्छा में थोक में बेचता है। सीओ ओमप्रकाश शर्मा ने पकड़ी गई स्मैक की कीमत अंतराष्ट्रीय बाजार में 13 लाख रुपये बताई है। पुलिस ने आरोपी की बाइक सीज कर उसके खिलाफ मुकदमा दर्ज किया।
