गोरखपुर। सरया गांव में बुधवार की दोपहर दिल दहला देने वाली घटना हुई। एक पिता ने पांच और सात साल के अपने दो मासूम बच्चों के साथ आग लगाकर जान दी। एक साथ तीन लोगों की मौत की सूचना से इलाके में सनसनी फैल गई। प्रथमदृष्टया घटना के पीछे कारण गृहकलह बताया जा रहा है। पति-पत्नी के बीच विवाद हुआ था और पत्नी मायके चली गई थी। पुलिस जांच कर रही है।
गीडा क्षेत्र के सरया निवासी लालचंद कन्नौजिया का 36 वर्षीय पुत्र मदन कन्नौजिया आज दोपहर एक बजे के आसपास घर के अंदर अपनी सात साल की बेटी अन्नपूर्णा व पांच साल के बेटे शेषनाथ को कमरे में बुलाया और अंदर से दरवाजा बंद कर एलपीजी सिलेंडर की गैस खोल दी। इससे गैस पूरे कमरे में फैल गई। इसके बाद आग लगा ली। घर से धुआं निकलने पर परिवार के अन्य लोगों को जानकारी हुई। दरवाजा तोड़कर उन्हें बाहर निकालने का प्रयास किया गया लेकिन तब तक देर हो चुकी थी। तीनों की सांसें थम गई थीं। मृतक के भाई मोहन कन्नौजिया ने पुलिस को सूचना दी।
मोहन ने बताया कि उसके बड़े भाई मदन कन्नौजिया ने का पत्नी से कुछ दिन पहले विवाद हो गया था, जिससे नाराज होकर वह बच्चों को छोड़कर मायके चली गई थी और कई दिन से वहीं रह रही है। मोहन के अनुसार इस घटना से वह अवसाद में थे। मानसिक रूप से बीमार भी हो गए थे। मौके पर पहुंचे एसपी नार्थ मनोज अवस्थी ने परिवार के अलावा गांव के लोगों से भी बात की। थानेदार विनय कुमार सरोज ने तीनों शवों को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेजवाया। उन्होंने कहा कि घटना के पीछे क्या कारण रहा, इसका पता लगाया जा रहा है।
मनोज अवस्थी, एसपी नार्थ ने बताया कि दो बच्चों के साथ आग लगाकर पिता के खुदकुशी करने की बात सामने आ रही है। मामले में हर पहलू की जांच कर आगे की कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
