नहर में डूबने से राष्ट्रीय महिला पहलवान तनिष्का की हुई मौत

पानीपत। हरियाणा के पानीपत जिले में नहर में डूबने से राष्ट्रीय महिला पहलवान तनिष्का की उस समय मौत हो गई जब वह हथवाला में यमुना नहर के किनारे अभ्यास करने पहुंचीं थीं। इनके साथ साथी पहलवान रेणु और एक 12 वर्षीय जूनियर पहलवान भी थीं, तीनों नहर में नहाने गईं। इस दौरान तीनों गहराई में चली गईं और डूबने लगीं। उसके साथ कुश्ती का अभ्यास करने वाली दो और पहलवान भी नहर में बहने लगीं, जिन्हें ग्रामीणों ने बचाया, लेकिन तनिष्का को नहीं बचाया जा सका। परिजनों ने बिना पोस्टमार्टम कराए ही तनिष्का का अंतिम संस्कार कर दिया।
तनिष्का के परिजनों ने पानीपत के सिविल अस्पताल के डॉक्टरों को लिखित में दिया कि वे अपनी बेटी के शव का पोस्टमार्टम नहीं कराना चाहते। इसके बार डॉक्टरों ने कागजी कार्यवाही कर तनिष्का का शव उसके परिजनों को सौंप दिया। जबकि गांव पट्टीकल्याणा में तनिष्का का अंतिम संस्कार कर दिया गया। तनिष्का के भाई सुरेंद्र ने बताया कि उसकी बहन 17 साल की थी और कक्षा 12वीं की छात्रा थी। तनिष्का ने कुश्ती में राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर कई पदक जीते थे। वहीं तनिष्का, श्रीलंका में आयोजित होने जा रही इंटरनेशनल चैंपियनशिप में भाग लेने के लिए अभ्यास कर रही थी। तनिष्का अपने कोच व साथियों के साथ यमुना घाट पर कुश्ती के अभ्यास के लिए गए थे।
वहीं तनिष्का के कोच ने कहा कि वो कहीं भी खेलने जाती तो उसका सिर्फ एक ही मकसद रहता था कि पदक जीतकर ही लौटना है और इसे उसने साबित भी किया था। हर कुश्ती चैंपियनशिप में वह पदक जीतकर आती थी। स्टेट कुश्ती चैंपियनशिप और स्कूली कुश्ती चैंपियनशिप में तनिष्का स्वर्ण पदक जीत चुकी थी। यही नहीं अलग-अलग प्रतियोगिताओं में दो स्वर्ण पदक के अलावा पांच रजत और कई कांस्य पदक जीत चुकी थी।
