काशीपुर। पांच दिन पूर्व चोरी हुई बाइक को बरामद कर पुलिस ने दो वाहन चोरों को गिरफ्तार किया है। दोनों युवक छह दिन पूर्व ही जेल से बाहर आये थे।
मौहल्ला महेशपुरा निवासी शुहेब पुत्र मौ.यूनुस ने विगत 30 अक्टूबर को थाना कुण्डा में तहरीर देकर बताया था कि उसकी बाइक सुपर स्प्लैण्डर संख्या यूके-18 ई-0545 को अज्ञात चोर द्वारा अस्मी पैलेस निकट ढेला पुल से चोरी कर लिया गया। तहरीर के आधार पर थाना कुण्डा में धारा 379 आईपीसी के तहत मुकदमा पंजीकृत कर विवेचना उपनिरीक्षक मनोहर चन्द के सुर्पुद की गई थी। वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों के निर्देशन में प्रभारी निरीक्षक थाना कुण्डा के नेतृत्व में पुलिस टीम का गठन किया गया। टीम द्वारा घटनास्थल के आस पास के सीसीटीवी फुटेज चैक किये गये। विगत दिवस चैकिंग के दौरान सद्दाम पुत्र अब्दुल सलाम निवासी गुमसानी थाना केलाखेडा व रिजवान पुत्र शाहिद निवासी कटैया वीरपुर थाना आईटीआई को पुलिस ने पुराना ढेला पुल मुरादाबाद रोड से चोरी की बाइक के साथ पकड़ लिया तथा मुकदमें में धारा 411/34 आईपीसी की वृ(ि कर दोनों को गिरफ्तार किया गया। सद्दाम व रिजवान द्वारा पूछताछ में बताया कि वह दोनों 29 अक्टूबर को ही हल्द्वानी जेल से छूट कर आये थे तथा खर्चा चलाने के लिये पैसे नहीं होने के कारण बाइक चोरी करने का काम कर रहे थे तथा आजकल शादियाँ होने के कारण, इसी का फायदा उठाकर 30 अक्टूबर की शाम को अस्मी पैलेस निकट ढेला पुल से उक्त बाइक चोरी की थी। पुलिस इनके आपराधिक इतिहास की जानकारी ले रही है। गिरफ्तार करने वाली टीम में थानाध्यक्ष दिनेश सिंह फर्त्याल, उपनिरीक्षक मनोहर चन्द, अपर उपनिरीक्षक राकेश सिंह बोहरा, कां. 805 हरीश प्रसाद व चन्द्रशेखर भट्ट शामिल हैं।
