काशीपुर। धर्मयात्रा महासंघ के राष्ट्रीय महामंत्री कृष्ण कुमार अग्रवाल एडवोकेट ने उपजिलाधिकारी को एक पत्र सौंपकर कहा कि 31 अगस्त को श्री गणेश चतुर्थी व्रत है। इस दिन से नगर व क्षेत्र में अनन्त चतुर्दशी तक 10 दिन लगातार विभिन्न हिन्दू संगठनों द्वारा परम्परागत रूप से श्री गणेश मण्डप सजाये जाते हैं। इनमें भजन कीर्तन इत्यादि का आयोजन होता है। आयोजन में महिला, पुरुष व बच्चे भारी संख्या में शामिल होते हैं। अनुरोध किया कि सभी गणेश मण्डपों के आसपास सड़कों व नालियों की सफाई, चूना व कीटनाशक दवाओं का छिड़काव तथा शु( पेयजल आपूर्ति व्यवस्था, प्रकाश व्यवस्था कराये जाने के साथ ही शराब, मांसहार व दूषित खाद्य पदार्थों की बिक्री पर पूर्ण प्रतिबन्ध लगाया जाये। सरुक्षा की दृष्टि से पुलिस सहायता उपलब्ध कराते हुए अराजक तत्वों पर पैनी नजर रखी जाये ताकि उत्सव के दौरान कोई गड़बड़ी न हो।
