कांवड़ मेले में बाइकों में आग लगने का जारी रहा सिलसिला
अब तक तीन थाना क्षेत्रों में बाइकों में आग लगने की घटना हो चुकी
हरिद्वार। कांवड़ मेले में इस बार बाइकों में अचानक आग लगने की घटनाएं लगातार जारी रही। गड्डा पार्किंग में रविवार की दे रात अचानक बाइक में आग लगने से करीब 15 बाइकेें जलकर खाक हो गयी। जबकि इससे पूर्व डामकोठी के पास ओम घाट के समीप सड़क किनारे खड़ी करीब एक दर्जन बाइकें जल चुकी हैं। लेकिन बाइकों में आग लगने का सिलसिला यही नहीं थमा। बहादराबाद में भी एक चलती बाइक में अचानक आग लगने से हड़कम्प मच गयी। बताया जा रहा है कि बाइक सवार कांवड़िये से कूद कर अपनी जान बचाई। घटना से मार्ग जाम हो गया, लेकिन तैनात पुलिस कर्मियों ने फायर एक्सटिंग्विशर से आग पर काबू पाया। प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार कोतवाली नगर क्षेत्र स्थित गड्डा पर्किग में रविवार की देर करीब 15 बाइकों में अचानक लग लगने से हड़कम्प मच गया। बताया जा रहा हैं कि आग की लपटों से गिरी बाइकों के पास खड़े अन्य वाहनों को तत्काल वहां से हटाया गया। घटना में बाइकें जलकर खाक हो गयी, बाइकों में आखिर कैसे आग लगी किसी के समझ नहीं आ रहा है। इसी तरह कोतवाली क्षेत्र में रविवार की दोपहर को डाम कोठी के समीप ओम पुल के पास खड़ी करीब एक दर्जन बाइकें में भी अचानक आग लगने से खाक हो गयी। बाइकों में आग लगने का सिलसिला अभी यही नहीं थमा। बहादराबाद थाना क्षेत्र सोमवार की सुबह क्रिस्टल वर्ल्ड के पास चलती कांवडियें की बाइक में अचानक आग लग गयी। घटना की जानकारी होने पर समय रहते कांवड़िये ने कूद कर अपनी जान बचाई। घटना से हाईवे पर जाम लग गयी। बताया जा रहा हैं कि वहां पर तैनात कांस्टेबल विपिन सकलानी और कांस्टेबल सौरव ने तत्काल कार्यवाही करते हुए निकट स्थित पेट्रोल पम्प से फायर एक्सटिंग्विशर से आग पर काबू पाया। घटना में बाइक जल कर खाक हो गयी। बहादरबाद एसओ नितेश शर्मा ने बताया कि क्रिस्टल वल्र्ड के पास चलती कांवडियें की बाइक में अचानक आग लग गयी, लेकिन कांवड़िये ने कूद कर अपनी जान बचाई। बताते चले कि इससे पूर्व भी कनखल थाना क्षेत्र में भी चलती बाइक में आग लगने की घटना हो चुकी है। (फोटो-02)
