हल्द्वानी। राष्ट्रीय पैराबैडमिंटन चैंपियनशिप में बाजपुर की मनदीप कौर ने वर्ल्ड चैंपियन मानसी जोशी को सेमीफाइनल मुकाबले में 12-21, 21-15, 21-14 से हराकर फाइनल में प्रवेश किया। हालांकि वह फाइनल मुकाबले में गुजरात की पारुल दलसुखभाई परमार से हार गईं। मनदीप को रजत पदक से संतोष करना पड़ा। उड़ीसा के भुवनेश्वर में चैथी राष्ट्रीय पैराबैडमिंटन चैंपियनशिप का 24 से 26 दिसंबर तक आयोजन चल रहा है। राज्य से एसएल-3, एसएल-4, एसयू-5, व्हीलचेयर श्रेणी के कुल 28 खिलाड़ियों ने प्रतियोगिता में प्रतिभाग किया। इंडियन पैराबैडमिंटन टीम के कोच गौरव खन्ना ने बताया कि ऊधमसिंह नगर जिले के बाजपुर ब्लाॅक की खिलाड़ी मनदीप कौर ने वल्र्ड चैंपियन मानसी जोशी को सेमीफाइनल मुकाबले में कड़ी शिकस्त दी। खन्ना ने बताया कि फाइनल मुकाबले में खेलते हुए मनदीप को चक्कर आने लग गए। इस वजह से वह फाइनल में गुजरात की पारुल दलसुखभाई परमार से हार गईं। इधर, मनदीप कौर ने बताया कि अभी वह बैडमिंटन की मिक्सड डबल इवेंट में भी प्रतिभाग करेंगी।
